Rathi always believed in God. For her, it doesn't have a proper shape or it belongs to a precise religion or it will only understand a certain language. She once read in a book called The Alchemist that says always believe in one true God. In her confused spirituality whether God exist or not she found it interesting to follow it and believes that God is somewhere hearing all the prayers in this world, he might help some or many people but right now he didn't save Rathi and she couldn't think about that or anything else, as her brain took over by the pain on her skin and everywhere.
She closed her eyes and curled hugging her knees on the floor while he whipped her with a rope all over her body except her stomach. After taking a hot bath Rathi came out wearing her saree, her eyes had a calm stare, and her face somewhat better compared to yesterday.
