Titus pov

“Why did you bring me to the forest?” Eden gazed up at Lucius as they walked hand in hand. Her head was tilted to the side and eyebrows furrowed together.

I wondered if she had any idea how cute she looked when she was confused.

Lucius didn’t speak. Once she realized he wouldn’t give out anything, Eden glanced at me over her shoulder. I winked at her, but didn’t give her an answer either, siding with Lucius.

Since I didn’t speak either, Eden pouted and peered at Lucius again. “You had me wear something pretty just for a walk in the forest?” She whined. But again, she was met with silence.

Clearly, she wasn’t happy, contrary to how she acted minutes ago when she discovered pockets in her dress and grinned like a maniac.

What was it with women and pockets?

Ah, scratch the reasoning, whatever it was - the smile on her face was enough for me to want to buy her all the dresses with pockets I could find.
