The day had gotten a bit darker and April knew it was time to begin what they came here for and that was to make her remember the hidden memories of her past. Although, a part of her strongly believed that she was not Margaux but she could not help but feel nervous and scared. She thought she had prepared herself for this, however, she didn't seem ready to face it. Maybe it was due to her anxiousness, series of 'what ifs' began to cloud her mind. 'What if i end up seeing something like the way i had seen the demon's past? What if i end up recovering a little memory of the evil witch? What if the evil witch turned out to be me? What if i really was an evil witch?' Those questions clouded her mind and it made her uneased that she began sweating profusely. ENCOUNTER HOME
April having gathered that tiny courage in her quietly followed the demon. Now that she had casted those series of what ifs aside, she no longer felt that anxiety she had once felt some seconds ago, instead she was busy admiring the beautiful night view of Grey city. The sky was so beautiful filled with many twinkling stars and the cool breeze helped a lot in calming her soul. The street lamps were on as the day had gotten somewhat darker but to her utmost surprise, she only saw few people on the road who seemed to be heading back home. The streets they had passed through looked kind of empty as if there was no one living there. That was weird, this was the vampire home and it was dusk which was morning to them, she had prepared herself to meet those vampires on the way but she met none. Damon turned and looked at her but his gaze shifted to her trembling hands, he could see how anxious and scared she was. "We are at your home." He replied, his gaze still fixed on her trembling hands. "M..m..my home?" "Yes, your home." Came his reply as he moved his gaze to her dumbstrucked face. The reason. . . . The reason why Margaux committed those evil deeds was to take revenge on those who killed her father, however, April could not understand why she had to destroy this town. The twinkling stars and the dazzling full moon gave beauty to the dark sky. The cold wind blew like it was quarrelling with earth and the snow fell like rainfall but the moment the snow reached the ground, it turned scarlet as the land had turned into a pool of blood overlaid with dead bodies. On that beautiful night was heard clashing of swords and cries of anguish as more lifeless bodies fall to the ground, killed with no mercy. It was as though death had visited the normally peaceful town, and the oh-so beautiful night had become an unpleasantly horrific sight. At the center of these lifeless bodies, stood a young lady wearing a black cloak. The thought that she might really be the one who hurt Damon and killed those people frightened her, they frightened her to her bones that she could never bring herself to accept his claim that she was the evil Margaux. She could not even fall asleep knowing that the day to choose her spouse was coming, the full moon which was two days from now.
