Dana stood beside the window side of her chamber blankly staring at the moon shimmering bright and giving beauty to the night. She could not even fall asleep knowing that the day to choose her spouse was coming, the full moon which was two days from now. She had tried to delay it but the elders kept insisting and it worried her people that she had no spouse at her age as it was their belief that a Queen ought to have a spouse whom she can rely on. If she tried to delay it again, her people might get wary of her and that was the last thing Dana ever wanted to happen. She had to prove to them that she was capable of ruling them and as a leader, she had to obey the customs and traditions.
