S4-Chapter 2

Lexie’s POV

I had a horrible night! Patrick was in all my dreams and they ranged from passionate kisses on a beautiful beach to him literally kicking me out of the company. Since I started this job, I'd been dreaming a lot about him; it seemed like an obsession I couldn't shake. And everything got even worse after he called me and asked me to book his return flight. My nerves were on edge. He would arrive at the end of the following week and go straight to Manu's family farm, where her wedding to my brother would take place.

"Good morning!" I said like a zombie when I entered the kitchen and saw Manu having her coffee, her eyes bright like someone who'd had a wonderful night.

"Wow! You look terrible!" She assessed me.

"Oh, thanks, Manu! Too bad I can't say the same about you!" I joked with her, and she laughed and shook her head.

"Patrick again?" She asked, placing her hand on her chin to listen to me.
