14. The Strange Proposal 13

“Oh! My God!” He exclaimed, and stood up immediately. He walked briskly to the stage, and collected the Mic from the MC. Likewise, he looked at the thrilled audience, and smiled broadly as usual. Then, his beautiful set of teeth were revealed, and his handsome face beamed. At that point, he faced King Raphael Churchill VII, and kowtowed, before he greeted, “Long Live, my King.”

Although, the King was sad about the strange proposal, but he cheered up, and stretched his gold ring to him, “You may rise, son,” he said happily.

The audience clapped the more when he added 'son' to the lexicon. Apart from the audience, that was thrilled, Carson was as thrilled as his father. Incidentally, most youths preferred to dissociate themselves from their parents, and he was not an exception. So, his parents clapped like the audience. Nevertheless, Carson was still kneeling, and watched the cheering audience. When the round of applause died down, he requested, “If I have impressed my King with my event
