LOGINAsha I lie on my bed, staring at the ceiling absentmindedly. The dialogue with Raze keeps playing in my head. He acted all fidgety when I asked about a snitch. Maybe I shouldn't have asked that. It could have tipped him off or something. I exhale through my lips, and close my eyes. I honestly can't wait for all these to be over. Auren's involvement with the underworld is contributing largely to this mess I'm tangled in. I make a mental note at the back of my head to talk to him about this later. 'She's been inside her room all day. Is she okay?' I fling my eyes open, sitting up on the bed. That's Auren. What does he want? He knocks on the door, "Asha?" My heart skips a beat, and I unconsciously fix my hair, and dress before hopping off the bed. I gently open the door, then step aside. He takes the cue, and enters inside, "Hello? You've been inside all day. What's the matter with you? This is so unlike you." I close the door behind him. I deflat
Raze I stare at Asha in shock. She stands there staring at me with her jaws dropped. "Raze? What the fuck are you doing here?" "Well, what are you doing here?" I pinch my brows at her. She swallows hard, her eyes avoiding mine,"Well.. I was.. taking a walk." I arch my brows, "Taking a walk? Here? Why?" She scratches the back of her head, "So what? Is it bad to take a walk?" I look at her glistening face, and heaving chest. Right, of course she was taking a walk. "I never knew you ran while taking walks," I scoff, brushing past her. "Now, answer my question. Why are you here?" She fires after me. "That is none of your business. You shouldn't be here, you could get killed." Deep down, I suspect she probably followed me here. Why she would follow me beats me already. "What about you? Wouldn't you get killed too?" I roll my eyes at her innocent question. Sometimes I wonder how Boss ran into her. She's just too innocent for this world, and annoying to
Asha "What's a pretty little thing like you doing in the middle of nowhere? Don't you fear for your life?" A gruff voice asks. I swallow back the lump that's already forming in my throat. I bite my lower lip, the back of my eyes burning with tears already. He immediately grabs my arm, and spins me around in one smooth motion. He roughly grabs my chin, and makes me look at him. He has dirty red hair that falls over his forehead, almost touching his dark red eyes. His nose is wide, and his blistered lips are a little too full. He reeks of carelessness, and danger. "Hmm, you're the prettiest omega I've ever seen. Jeez, why didn't you come sooner?" He cackles maniacally, tugging me forward by my chin. I fall into his stinky, uncomforting embrace. He ruffles my hair, still cackling like a madman. "Ah, the gods have finally answered my prayers. It's been a while since I was able to cure myself of a cold." My knees almost give out. Is.. he talking about wanting to ra
Asha I place a hand over my mouth to stifle my gasp. Fuck, now he knows someone was listening to him. Panicked, I try to make a run for it, but strong arms grab my wrist and yank me backward. Cold metal presses against my head, and the click of a trigger follows. "Who the fuck are you?" "A.. Asha," I squeak. He spins me around, his sharp eyes scrutinizing my face. "Asha? What are you doing here?" I open my mouth to think of something, but nothing comes into my head. It's empty. "You had me thinking someone had broken in or something," he lets go of me, "You shouldn't creep around corners like that." Well, aren't you creeping around corners? I manage to force a toothy smile, "O-of course! I was just trying to get back to my room, and accidentally knocked this vase over," I laugh awkwardly, picking the vase up, and placing it back in its original position. "Don't mind me, I'll leave now," I take a few steps backwards, whirl around, and hurry out of his
Asha 'Did I just fucking hug her?' Yes, you just fucking hugged me, idiot. He pats my back awkwardly, "You'll.. be fine. I won't let anything happen to you," his hand moves to my hair, and caresses it. My heart skips a beat as I fully relax into his embrace. Endless tingles course through my body as I'm more aware of the fact that he's wrapping his arms around me. He smells.. nice. A scent I've never taken note of. Apple and Plum. Heat crawls up from my neck to my face. Despite my tears, my stomach is tingling like crazy! No, stupid blush, go back before he sees you! "You'll be fine. Don't panic so much, hm?" "It's just that— it's too much to digest. I only tried to defend myself. Why should I get into trouble for that?" I sniffle, drawing back a loud snort. He shrugs his shoulders, "Orion is a dumb little pup. All he has is volume and a useless rage. He can do nothing asides from waving his gun around," he laughs without humor to it. I exhale softly,
Asha Something's off about today. The sun doesn't greet my room warmly as it normally does. Today, it decides to hide itself behind the clouds. The morning breeze is so chilly, I can feel it in my bones. The atmosphere is dull and gray. I would have dismissed it as a normal cloudy day, but no, I can't. Something's definitely wrong. I clutch at my invisible pearls, thinking of what could possibly land me in trouble. So far, nothing comes into my head, but still that unmistakable feeling of something bad about to happen won't leave my chest. I sigh, and walk back towards the living room. Some reality show will clear my head. I'm almost at the living room when I hear some voices coming from there. One's Auren's, and the other... a voice I can't recognize. I hide behind a wall, and peek my head just enough to see the figures, but so much my head's exposed. I furrow my brows as my eyes settle on the new face. He looks oddly familiar. I squint my eyes wonde
