Elsie was settling in well. On her first day she already had a bunch of papers to go through and once in a while she stopped to admire the decor in her office that was made of translucent glass all round. A glass table with a long comfy leather C-suite chair that could be adjusted up and down and move three hundred and sixty degrees, a shelf of books on her left, flowers on her table with a picture of her and Jake.
On the wall there was a calendar and some art of a sad girl. She kept looking at it and pictured herself a few days back. Her PA was now automatically her secretary and she was a phone call away. It still felt like a dream to her. The office phone on her desk rang, she quickly picked it up. Elsie's first day working for the family came to an end. Generally it was a good one apart from the little hitch she ran through in the name of Frank. She arranged her papers and scribbled something in her diary. After seeing Elsie again Frank realized how much he had missed her and how dumb he was to say he was going to stay away and wait for her to realize she loved him.
