CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Claire ignored his last statement which had sounded more like a threat, and it did terrify her.....he terrified her.

She couldn't continue shelving the glasses and bottles. So she reached for her bag and came out from behind the counter.

Jake watched her ignore him and this got him upset.

Claire walked up to him now, she was tired, she needed to go home to her son.
