CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-FOUR

THIRD PERSON’S POV

The door to Mr Wolfe’s room opened and Mirabella stepped in, holding a document. Through yesterday, no one had come to care for him. His stomach rumbled and he forced out silent sounds.

“You look good today, dear husband.” She said as she moved closer to him and patted him on his cheek. “I will find someone to take care of you very soon. Until then, your company needs an head.”

She pulled his right hand, freed his thumb and placed it on the red ink she had in her hand before pressing it against the transfer of ownership document.

He tried to struggle. Fight against it but it was pointless. So he blinked. Again and again as though hoping it was sweep her away.

Mirabella stood up and adjusted her gown, the paper safely in her hand. She turned to blow him a kiss before walking out of the room.

And just like that he was back to the beginning. Hungry, cold and smelly.

Alaric.

He just wanted to see Alaric and apologize for treating them bad.
