It made her wonder how people who had to be there almost all their lives did it. It felt too boxed for her.She had fed the baby and put her to bed whilst Alaric sorted out work in the sitting room. He had apologized to her about a million times.“I should be here with you but I have something pressing I need to quicky attend to.” Those were his words two hours ago.She wasn’t angry in the bit because she knew that his work was demanding as well due to how fast they were rising. His new branches were under construction and he was working towards hiring the right people.Alaric’s head was consumed with so much that it ached. He couldn't be in multiple places at the same time, and sharing his business secret would be dumb. He knew he would have to find a way around it.The doorbell rang causing Isabella to walk towards the door but she found Alaric standing th

THIRD PERSON’S POVMonths had passed since the wedding and Isabella was fully settled and happy. She was standing in front of Rex and the clients. Staring at the display on the wall projector.“—and all I think about Love that bounds.” She completed, her eyes drifting from him to them as they sat across the large oak desk. Her back ached from having to carry this pregnancy for so long. Her legs could barely bear the weight but she was stronger than whatever this was. Isabella watched them whisper something to themselves before they nodded.“Phoenix. This concept you have proposed is exactly what we need. It’s unique and we knew we wouldn't be disappointed after your amazing stories weaved around the countries.” The first man informed. “We are not just giving you the go-ahead on this. We wouldd appreciate if your handled it from start to finish.” Isabella's lips curled with a smile. “I will be honored to.” She confessed. Rex beamed happily at her, nodding his head. “We will hav

THIRD PERSON’S POVThe sweet aroma of something pulled Isabella gently from her sleep. It wasn't the sunlight filtering through the blinds in a bid to announce the new day or the sound birds chirping.Instead it was the feel of something warm against her cheek. A pair of lips. She stirred, her eyes fluttering open as she tried to adjust to the morning. Her body ached most of the time now. He was standing there holding a tray that held breakfast, it seemed.Toast, and egg and orange juice with her favorite fruit bowl. Strawberries were arranged neatly in it, each cut into a heart shape. The crazy effort that had gone into that.“Good morning, gorgeous.” His voice sounded soft like it was rolled in honey and sugar.Isabella blinked, resting on one elbow.“Okayyy, you look like you have something up your sleeves.” She pointed out and watched him grin.“Can’t a man spoil the love of his life without a reason?” She arched her brows. “Definitely not this way. You are smiling too much. The

It was late evening cause they had spent the whole day in bed, laughing and chatting about what they each had missed. He sat few feet away from her, propping against the armrest of the chair while watching her with admiration and respect. With every second that passed, he still found it hard to believe that she had forgiven him and taken him back. A smile clung to his lips as he watched the woman he loved doing what she loved. It was beautiful. The attention to detail.“You know you are really focused. It makes me wonder what else you pay so much attention to.” He teased, his voice low as well as playful, slowly cutting through the thick air of silence.Isabella had felt his penetrating eyes on her body for hours n

He grabbed the phone that sat on the table, ringing out and cutting through the night like the ending of a perfect dream. Isabella leaned forward on her elbow as a cold, detached voice came through from the other end of the line. "Mr. Alaric Wolfe?" Alaric felt a chill pill in his stomach. "This is Love Hospital. I'm calling about Valeria."Isabella sat up immediately, her heart already racing. Something was wrong. She didn't need a seer to know that.
