Silas’s POV

The suite door clicked shut behind Xavier and Steph, and for several long seconds, I didn’t move. My hand still rested on the doorknob while I listened to their footsteps disappear down the hallway. Somewhere beyond the academy walls, parents were already arriving, suitcases were being loaded into cars, and students who’d spent months counting down to break were finally going home.

“Take care of our girl.” Xavier hadn’t hesitated when he’d said it. He hadn’t looked at me like a riva

  • Eclipse Academy   THE END

Angela’s POV I hadn’t slept worth a damn. Every time I closed my eyes, my mind went straight to Nolan and Ryder and whatever the hell they’d gotten themselves into the night before. They’d left to carry out a plan that could change everything, and I had no idea whether they’d made it back safely or whether something had gone wrong. And Xavier and Darius weren’t exactly helping my nerves. We were all gathered in Xavier’s room, eating breakfast since classes were still canceled. Silas sat across from me, Darius was beside me, and Xavier was on my other side. Steph had claimed a chair near the end of the table, and the rest of us were doing our best to pretend this was a normal morning. It wasn’t working for me. I glanced at Xavier, hoping he’d suddenly decide to tell me that everything was fine and that Nolan and Ryder had already checked in. He took another bite of his breakfast without saying anything, and I looked over at Darius instead. “Have you heard anything from Ryder yet?”

  • Eclipse Academy   Get It Done

Xavier’s POV By the time we got back to my room, I was done playing defense. For days, we’d been waiting for our fathers to make another move. We’d kept Angela close, stayed together, and made sure the people around us were people we trusted. Nolan had arranged for our food to be brought directly to the suite, and nobody outside our circle had been allowed near it without being checked first. Now we knew why everything had been so quiet. Gideon had gone after the entire academy, and Malachi had helped him. I shut the door behind us and looked around the room. Nolan was already there, along with several members of my security team. Ryder and Blaine had come with Darius, and Silas had brought two of the vampires he trusted most. Nobody was sitting around waiting for somebody else to tell them what to do. They were moving chairs, clearing the coffee table, and bringing up information on their phones. Within minutes, my sitting room looked more like a war room than a place where we us

  • Eclipse Academy   A Serious Problem

Xavier’s POV Mr. Wilson had been talking for the last twenty minutes, and I was beginning to wonder if the man ever got tired of hearing his own voice. I glanced at Angela, who was sitting beside me, trying to pay attention while Silas looked like he was one boring sentence away from falling asleep at his desk. Darius sat on Angela's other side, leaning back in his chair with his arms crossed, looking just as interested in the lesson as the rest of us. Which was to say, not at all. Steph sat behind us, and judging by the look on her face, she was busy entertaining herself rather than listening to anything Mr. Wilson was saying. I turned my attention back to the front of the classroom, hoping the time would pass a little faster. Mr. Wilson was explaining something about magical boundaries when a loud noise came from the bottom row. “Oh, shit!” Every head turned toward Bernice. She had shot out of her chair so quickly that it scraped across the floor, and she was clutchin

  • Eclipse Academy   The Plan

Gideon’s POV I sat behind my desk, studying the reports scattered across its surface. But none of them held my attention for long. There were always problems to solve, people to control, and enemies to put in their place. The difference between a king who ruled and one who merely wore a crown was knowing when to stop playing by the rules everyone else expected him to follow. I had never been particularly interested in following rules. A knock sounded against my office door. “Enter.” I called out. Dante stepped inside and shut the door behind him. My Beta had served me long enough to understand that I didn't appreciate being interrupted without a good reason, and he rarely wasted my time with unnecessary conversation. He crossed the room with his usual measured stride, his expression composed, though I caught the question lingering behind his eyes. He stopped in front of my desk. “So, my king, what’s your next move? What would you like me to do now?” I leaned back in my chair a

  • Eclipse Academy   Planned Attack

Darius’s POV The first thing I felt was Angela. Her hand rested against my cheek, warm fingers brushing my skin, and the sound of her voice reached me through the darkness. I couldn’t make out every word, but I knew she was upset. I knew that voice. I would recognize it anywhere. Then my lungs seized, and I dragged in a desperate breath. My eyes flew open as I fought for air, my chest rising sharply beneath me. For one disorienting second, I had no idea where I was or why my body felt as though I’d been dragged through hell. The room came into focus in pieces, but I barely registered the bed beneath me or the figures standing nearby. Angela was right there, and that was all that mattered. I lifted my hand and reached for her cheek. “Are you all right? Are you all right, baby?” Her eyes widened, and she caught my hand against her face before leaning closer. The relief that crossed her features told me more than her answer could have, but I still needed to hear it. “I’m okay, Dariu

  • Eclipse Academy   The Golden Glow

Xavier’s POV Silas’s question kept circling through my head long after he asked it. I stood beside the couch, looking down at Darius while the question settled into something far more troubling than suspicion. Silas had noticed the marks, not me. I had been too busy controlling the situation and then carrying Darius back to the suite, and making sure the men Blaze had captured were secured. I hadn’t paid attention to the details on their bodies. Now I wished I had. A dragon crest could mean several things, depending on where it was worn and who carried it. But if Silas was right, and those men had been operating alongside Darius’s father’s people, then somebody had a lot of explaining to do. My father came to mind before I could stop myself. The possibility should have surprised me. It didn’t. I had spent most of my life learning what kind of man he was. He believed obedience was more important than loyalty, power more important than fairness, and a prince’s duty was to do what h
