I sat up in bed and that’s when I realized I was alone. I knew they had been gone for a while because the sheets were cold. I climbed out of the bed and went into the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror. I was a hot mess. I turned around and slid to the ground. I pulled my knees up to my chest and laid my head on them. The tears started flowing freely. Of course, they wouldn’t want to be around me. They probably both figured that I wanted Ryder and Scott to touch me. I have no idea how long I had been sitting there when I felt a warm hand on the side of my face. I couldn’t even bring myself to look at them. I am sure they are disgusted by me. I froze when I felt myself being picked up and sat on the bed. I hurried and scooted myself back against the headboard.
