Chapter Forty Eight

Gwyneth's POV

I heaved a deep sigh before stepping inside the campus’ gate. It was passed six in the morning, but my scheduled time at my first subject is seven. I intentionally came here this early, just to avoid meeting Kalex. Though it’s kinda’ impossible because he’s my classmate slash seatmate for Pete’s sake.

What happened last night was so embarrassing. I couldn’t imagine myself doing that ‘you know what I mean’ thing. What’s more awkward is that, Maureen caught us on act. I’m afraid she might get the wrong idea and misunderstood us.

“Hey, Gwyn!” someone approached behind me, making me glanced over my shoulder to see if who it is. “How was your date with last night?” Maureen gives me a creep with her sudden questions.

“Huh?” I muffled, acting as if I don’t get what she mean but of course I know what she was trying to say.
