I'm an Alpha too.

After I woke up only one thing consumed my thought and mind that was marriage. My mother would be so shocked and disappointed with me if she was alive she would never let me marry like this, to be bargained myself for title and power but what was to be happen had to happen.

Even though my mother would hate me for this but she was everything to me, she was my first teacher, friend and guardian. When I was with her I was my most purest self, I could be anything I wanted in front of her. When I was young, I was a very notorious child and my mother loved it. She taught me everything, She used to say I was like her. She used to say "respect was the highest virtue a person could ever have as it needs to be build throughout your life but it could be tarnished in a single wrong step." Looks like today, I was about to do exactly opposite of that, sell my respect and dignity for my tribe but it was worth it, wasn't it? I kept asking myself the same question again and again.

I didn't really remember my father in my childhood as he was always busy in his politics and tribe matters. Even when he was free from those things he would teach James about the laws and rules about our wolf community, more of how to become a dominant alpha and just like now they would never agree with the each other's ideas and prospect of thinking and at the end they argued with each other because there opinion never matched, they were like parallel lines always beside each other but never coincide, just like our relation with humans. But my mother always had something that bring us all together or maybe it was her what used to bought us together. She was kind to everyone even to humans.

We lived in the same world as humans but we never really had any relationship with them moreover we were always one foot ahead of them because as we knew about there existence, we also knew about their strategies and techniques so there was no way we were going to lose to them if ever a war break out between the two species. The negative point humans had was they would never believe that we exist untill they saw us themself because there minds were controlled by fear, fear of being treated as they treat the other vulnerable species.

As for myself I never went to human world and I would most certainly never will, believe me if I wanted to go there no one had the power to stop me but I was never interested in human world like my brother was because  they had nothing that could make me cross the line between humans and werewolves and after becoming the alpha it seemed impossible. Now I had responsibilities and most certainly no time to waste to explore the foreign world just for pleasure.

When I went downstairs my brother was back everything seemed fine, just my father giving silent treatment to my brother and failing at it miserably and when life felt at peace my father destroyed it.

"Nebula tribes alpha's mother would be here in a short time, get yourself ready." My father emphasized happily.

"Father, she has a name, Amelia Millar people life don't only define by what there relation with an alpha." James sneered.

"And here went my peaceful day to damp" I thought to myself.

For the rest of the day I had to endure my brother's and father's tantrum and after what we call an unhealthy amount of waiting we finally met Amelia, Nebula tribe's alpha mother. She was wearing a plain bright red skirt which was below her knees, same red blazer and a white top underneath with matching red high heels.

As we approached her my father smiled his one of the finest fakes smiles that he usually put on his face on the occasion like this, my brother was trying to be a gentleman which he was.

Amelia smiled at my father's direction making me roll my eyes at her. My father walked forward and welcomed her. James politely insisted her if he could take her belonging to the guest room.

"How kind but there's no need for that as you can see I have no time to spare." She said smilingly. Now it was time for some heavy conversation.

I remarked sarcastically "I guess, today you have to run to the adjoining tribe as well cause I have heard you also made the same generous offer of marriage to their alpha's sister too."

She stood shocked by my words as she had no idea I knew so much regarding their family matter that she couldn't utter a single word. She just stood there, her eyes wide open as she just got caught by us but this didn't break her confidence.

"No, you have heard wrong sweet heart, that alpha's sister was supposed to marry my older son who left the clan and she would have only married him if she hasn't find her mate-." She stammered but continued. "-they are just rumours they told you so you won't accept this magnificent offer."

"Mrs. Millar, you will also admitt that rumours have some truth in it, won't you?" I replied sarcastically on which her jaw dropped.

She was just composing herself when I again dropped a fact bomb in front of her. "Unfortunately they are going to decline your offer because suddenly last night she mated with someone or maybe lying about it because why would someone want to marry your son who has no control over his tribe"

Her expression changed from panic to anger but didn't utter a single word to defend her son, probably because she didn't wanted to lose this alliance too. My father was wickedly smiling because of my cleverness.

I had found all these information last night when my father was asleep, as an alpha I also have my secrets that my family had no idea of.

Another silence fell between us and this time my brother broke it. "Your son isn't here, Mrs. Millar?" Delighted by our interest in her son she calmed herself and said. "He is an alpha who has responsibilities he can't come here leaving them." She shouldn't have said that in front me and my father because now this thing was going to get real.

"Such a thing coming from a woman it's rather hysterical don't think, Mrs. Millar?

My father remarked without showing his emotions.

"We are just women, we can't intrude in men's affairs." She insisted vulnerably.

"I won't agree with you, Mrs. Millar" I contradicted. "you are the one who came here to choose your son's bride, make it clear that you have a great influence on your son life so in tribe affairs and it might escaped your notice but I'm an alpha too but still for your honour and respect I stand here in front of you leaving my work aside."

She swallowed hard and apologized. "I'm so sorry for this but on the Red Moon night, when your marriage is fixed he will be present."

"No, this marriage will not happen that day though your son must be present there because I'm want to see him myself  if he is an agreeable or not and don't you dare pretend that you have a choice in this matter or you are doing favor on us. The only reason you are here is to form an alliance, to beg us to show mercy on you and accept your offer." I snapped at her.

She bowed her head low in agreement and started to walk in when I glowered.

"Show Mrs. Millar the exit because I'm sure she has no time to spare." I turned on my heels and walked to our study room without giving a backward glance. After that I had no idea who escorted her back because I didn't saw her face again.
