Chapter 18It was a round table discussion of only three men but there were five chairs present. The room was dinky lit as each man looked on with grave expressions on their faces. Chapter 19Brandon opened his eyes slowly. He was on a bed but he was still wearing the same shirt he had been wearing the previous day. Chapter 20Brandon walked slowly into his parents home. He had no idea what he had been expecting when his parents said they were going on vacation along with their grandfather but Brandon was sure it wasn't this. The house in which they were having their vacation was a Victorian style building. It looked like it had been created in the 1900s. Chapter 22Emma had no idea what she had been expecting when she was summoned by her grandfather but surely it wasn't anything she was hearing. When she had first walked into the office, she took a pause because her grandfather was not the only person present. Godson stood at a close distance from her grandfather while Hugo sat with a frown and clenched hands. His suit was wet with what Emma suspected to be sweat and his unclenched hand tapped his thigh anxiously. Emma swallowed nervously. The last time she had visited the hospital, she found out she was hypertensive. She had been beyond shocked because no one in her family had a history of it. At least not that she knew of. So it was surprising.Although, it was later explained that due to stress and some other factors, some pregnant women become hypertensive during pregnancy and it most likely returned back to normal after childbirth. The one important thing she got from the doctor was that she should avoid any stressful situation
