Daphney's POV

I got to the office a bit late. I exchanged pleasantries as usual,I looked so stunning in the black pencil gown I wore . I marched down to my desk smartly as my heels made sounds . I got to my table to see the usuals there.

"Awwwn....Drille won't cease to amaze me". I thought smiling to myself as I planned to seat on my chair I heard a familiar voice.

"Jeezzzz! This girl is here again....". I groaned gritting my teeth as she hugged me from behind.

"Heyyyy....Bes". She squealed hugging me tight almost lifting me off my feet, thankfully she's short and plump .

Anita had been my best friend right from college , she's one of the best thing that has ever happened to me. Sometimes she's a pain in the ass and sometimes she's with sense,I guess all besties are like that anyways . We graduated together and got to work in the same company. She's number one gist, she's always following the internet every seconds infact she's a number one fan of Richmond Hill. She'll always come to me for one news or the latest gist in town .

"Have you heard? She released me from her grip as I hurried to my seat so she won't hug me again.

"What's the latest.. I said trying to give her the attention she needed . I arranged the files on my table as she sat down on the chair in front of my desk. She stopped when she noticed something on my table.

Ohhh .....I forgot to mention, Anita loves food most especially junks . She noticed the junks on my table and stopped . She can't trade social media and food for anything.

"Daphney....who showered you with these again? She winked at me using another eye to look at the chocolate on my table.

"As usual... It's Drille ". I smiled avoiding her eyes because she's fond of giving me this "you're in love look" and I detest that dumb idea.

"No... there's nothing between us ,you cute devilish gummy bear". I said as we both laughed

"C'mon... there should be a spark whenever you guys meet...or...or butterflies, yeah butterflies in your tummy". She licked her lips demonstrating vigorously.

"Seriously....?". I rolled my eyes

"Yeah... c'mon,get yourself a man". She said leaning on my table that's when I noticed she took one of the chocolate on my table and now she's having fun with it as the poor chocolate suffered in her mouth.

"Clepto...I yelled, hitting her hand as she tried to take another one.

"Lemme eat it now.. you will end up giving someone else". She gave me a puppy eye that is so irresistible .

"Awwwn...our Anita is so cute...but No! I'm not falling for that". I slapped her hand playfully

"Ouch....!" She cried out laughing.

"Anny...go to your table, I'm busy". I said

"Not until...I tell you the latest gist". She squealed

"Fine... I'm all ears". I'm tired of Anita she's so troublesome and a pain in the ass, I said that before. Anyways let's listen to what she has to say this time around.

"You know about Richmond Hill, don't you? She bent down showing me her tablet and pictures of a guy. I won't deny the fact that he's handsome and jeezzzz...those 6 packs made me almost drool but no way....I Daphney Krenshaw can never ever and will never ever drool on a guy ,not even in my dreams.

"What's up with him? I shrugged my shoulder cleaning my table well.

"He's coming today...!!!". She yelled and got everyone's attention as they fixed their gaze on us. I slapped my forehead with my hand .

"I'm sorry..." She quivered and smiled as they resumed what they were doing.

"OMG...! He's the fashion goddess,the best model and the son of a billionaire...." She shouted again as they all looked back at her and said in unison.

"Shussssssshhhhhhhhhh.....!!!!" .

"Yeah.... I'll zip it,you won't hear a sound". She chuckled ,I was laughing so hard, she's a clown in disguise.

"Ohhh.... that's the reason why you dressed like this ". I said noticed the tight gown she was putting on .

"Now you understand the swag..." She laughed slapping her butt.

"This is our chance to meet that little god...do you know he won the contest for the most handsome guy and also the best model in the world....this guy is hot'. She shouted again.

"I guess...I gotta go, we'll see when we see". She whispered softly as she took the last chocolate on my table and ran away with it .

"I knew you were a thief right from birth..." I whispered too because their eyes were still on us. She hurried back to their seat blowing them kisses.
