We were talking over coffee when someone approached us.
"Alora hi!" It was Leon.
"Hi! What are you doing here?" I asked. We're not close. I rejected him when he confessed but I can at least be nice to him.
"Ahm I'm actually on my way to Jade Mountain Beach Resort. I have a job interview there." He sounded embarrassed. His family suddenly went bankrupt and his father was currently in jail. Last I heard, he and his sister were kicked out of Golden Oak.
"Oh I see. Isn't it too far for you?" I asked. The resort is a few hours away from Northbay City but I think he wanted to work far from the criticism of the people around them.
"Sort of. But you know, it's kind of hard for us." He scratched his head and lowered down his gaze
"Are you sure she's not? Do you really know her that well?" She asked, staring at me with her cold gaze. "Why can't you just answer my question? Have you killed someone before?" I asked again. "Patience. I don't like the sound of your tone." She walked towards the sofa and sat there. I didn't say a word. "So, if I did, what would you do? Will you still love a murderer?" She didn't look at me when she asked. Her eyes are still staring at the painting on the wall. "I don't care. I will still love her." Then she gazed at me. "Do you think your love can save her from the depths of despair and darkness?" Her eyes are still empty. Dead. It's like you're staring in the eyes of a corpse.
LUKE POV I brought her to the restaurant where our friends are. They were waiting for us when we arrived. "What took you so long? We're starving? Alora sit beside me. I have something to ask." Nina exclaimed. She silently sat beside her. They haven't noticed she was not Alora. Everyone was busy with their phones or chatting with one another. The waiter came to take our orders. I gave her the menu to choose her own meal. I am carefully observing her. A group of girls suddenly came in and sat on the table next to us. They were giggling while chatting. We can actually hear their conversation. They were talking about me and the boys. "That's quite rude. They know there are girls
I decided to go out for a drink tonight. The boys insisted they would join me. I know they are worried because of what Angel said. About the possibility that Alora might fall into a coma. "How are you?" Percy asked. "Trying my best to be better." I answered. He tapped me on the shoulder and drank his whiskey. "Jayden, do you have any advice on what I should do for Alora to come back? I mean how did you do it?" I know he's been keeping it a secret to our friends but I can't help it. He didn't reply for a moment. He deeply sighed and answered. "When I switch, I can't really remember a single thing that the other me did. Dad will just tell me everything that happened. At first,
I felt so restless. I've been looking for her for more than an hour. Where is she? I'm not afraid that she's a murder suspect. I'm afraid that she's lost or wounded or something might happen to her. I called her a few times but her phone just kept on ringing. "Did you find her?" I asked Percy and Sophie. I went back to their room after searching the whole building. The rest of our friends joined in. I can see the fear and worries in their faces. "Do you really think she did it?" Nina asked. Her voice was trembling so Andrew held her hand. "She won't, right? She wouldn't just kill anyone." Emily stated. "So what if she did? Are you going to give up on her? She's sick, remember?" Jayden blurted. I can sense his anger with
ALORA POV When I closed my eyes and focused on getting out, I thought about Luke, my family and my friends. They were all waiting for me. I can't let this darkness swallow me. I don't want to stay in this cold. I want to stay in the warm embrace of Luke. I missed him so much. "Camila, where are you? Talk to me!" My own voice echoed in the dark. "What do you want?" She asked. "I know you can feel it. The love of our family, our friends and especially Luke. We won't be alone anymore." I opened my eyes and I saw her standing in front of me. "I don't care. They will still leave us. No matter what you say, I will never trust them." She said, almost yelling.
"Baby are you okay?" I saw the red marks on her knees. "I'm fine. I missed you so much." She said. We're already dressed and preparing to go to the hotel. I caressed her face and touched the strands of her hair. "Me too." I kissed her forehead and hugged her tight. "Baby, there's been a murder. Camila said she did it. Is she telling the truth?" I asked. For a moment, she was silent. "I don't know. I don't have any memory of it. But If she did, I know she wouldn't just kill without any reason." That may be true. She looks cold and ruthless but she's not evil. "Luke, I want you to know that all of me loves you. Angel, Ali, Elizabeth and even Camila. We love you with all our he
Since our vacation was cut short, the resort refunded us the money and gave us a 50% discount if we decide to visit again. Luke joked that he'll just buy the whole resort so we can go back anytime. When we arrived at the estate, Luke asked Ken to look for a forensic sketch artist so we could proceed in finding our kidnapper. If we can't find anything using her name, that means there was someone bigger backing her up. The one she called boss that time. I sat on the couch beside the window and looked outside. I really love the view of the whole estate outside from our bedroom window. I can see the flower garden and just looking at them made my mind at peace. I told Luke everything that me and my other selves discussed. Except for one. "Can I have sex with Luke?" My reflection from the glass window shows it's Camila
Ken found an artist who will sketch the face of our kidnapper. He's a renowned and popular artist working for the FBI. He made an appointment and will arrive after a week. Today we need to go back to school after our long weekend as if nothing happened. I'm in my closet looking for clothes to wear while Krista is lining them up in front of me. It's been almost 2 hours but still I haven't decided on what to wear. Finally, I settled with a pair of jeans, a crop top and comfy sneakers. "Baby are you done?" Luke walked inside and hugged me from the back. "Yes. But I think I need to go shopping. Can I go to Azalea after school? I'll invite the girls. You can come with us and wait at a restaurant and we can have dinner after." I asked. This is the first time I asked Luke a
