A Faint Memory

Half a year passed but we never heard anything about Peggy. My husband supported Jayden in his search for her, but the clues we got would eventually vanish along with the traces of Peggy.

When almost everyone was busy dealing with the missing Flousian princess, I was busy with myself. I felt like the voices in my head were arguing. I knew already that I'm crazy, that my mind was messed up, and only the little one inside me was keeping my sanity.

I didn't tell Luke about what I had found out about myself. I knew he would understand because my husband was a selfless man, especially if it concerned me. He loved me more than his life and that scared me the most. I knew he would still forgive me if I told him the truth.

"Why don't you tell your husband about yourself? It's a betrayal of trust if you lied to him." Camila said while I'm sitting in front of the mirror.

"I'm not lying. He didn't ask me about anything so how could I lie to him. I haven't denied anything to him." I insisted.
