Memory Serum

After the party, I put the twins to sleep and kissed them good night. Luke, Percy and Sophie waited for me in the study.

"That serum, do you remember what happened after they inject it into you?" Luke asked.

I tried to remember, but nothing came to my mind so I shook my head.

"I think I passed out after that then—" I paused then frowned.

Luke held my hand. "Don't push yourself, baby. Just try to remember what you can."

I nodded. "When you help me escape, I think I met a man who injected me with that serum. After that, I just remembered running and that's when I was caught by our kidnappers."

"And you killed them?" Sophie followed.

I nodded again. "I just remember feeling scared at one point, then that fear suddenly changed into a rage when they told me about killing the three of you."

"When you wake up, did you remember anything? Anything at all?" Luke asked again.
