THIRD POV

"Are you sure about that?" Luke asked.

She curved her lips and frowned, trying to remember the man she had seen that day. It was a vivid image because she was knocked out, but there was something on the man's face that she clearly remembered.

She nodded to confirm her statement. "He's Peggy's father. Do you remember when we met the man to ask about Peggy's whereabouts? I felt something weird toward him. I noticed there was a deep scar on his left eyelid. The man in the woods had the same scar like Benjamin's. And he also asked something weird that day."

"What did he ask you?" Sophie asked.

"He asked me if I remember him. I was confused and told him it was my first time meeting him. I ignored what happened because I thought he just mistook me for someone, but thinking back, maybe he meant the day he injected me with the serum."

Luke walked to the other side of the table and sat on the swivel chair. And was in deep thought.
