Chapter 18: Insignificant

Eleanor’s POV

“Do you have any plans this evening? Can I borrow some of your time?” Dad gets near me and sits beside me. I am just chilling out here in the garden, sitting on the bench. Seeing him here makes me feel amazed. I was calling for him to try and chill out here in the garden for a long time if finds time to get out of his always, but he always declines it. I would love him to be here because of the peacefulness and tranquility of this area. I am pretty sure he will cool up his mind here. It is also kind of windy now which soothes sitting under the sun that had been covered by the clouds.

“May I know why?”

“Well, we are not already hanging out together and I think that is not well for us. I am pretty sure we’d have a lot of chitchats as we were normally doing before.”

“Is this for real?”

“Yes, after my work at the office.”

“What if you’ll have emergency calls or meetings again from work?” This happened several times. I am just making sure that it will not be destruction later
