Innocent girl

She dashes downstairs, where the entire family is chatting and laughing in the large living room.

The room was furnished with various pieces of modern furniture, and it had large glass windows that were covered with light-colored curtains to allow sunlight to shine through.

"Hello, uncle."

She smiled at Ivaan's Dad, who was sitting next to her.

Everyone's attention is drawn to her.

"Hello there, sweetheart. How are you?"

David Watson returned her greeting with a warm smile. He was a man in his forties dressed in an Army uniform. His short army cut hair complemented his strong facial features, which described his responsibilities as Army general. He appears to be more lively than young people.

"I'm fine, uncle. Where is Ivaan?"

"Umm..he said... he'll wait in your room."

"Hello there, girl. Is this how you're supposed to communicate with your elders?"

Her mother remarked, irritably. She was a lady of high morals and manners. Not to mention her looks, she has a breathtaking attractive beauty, which is why Kavya was born so beautiful like an angel.

"Oh! Mrs. Singh, why are you chastising my little daughter?"

Mr. Singh, Kavya's father, said he takes his daughter's side.

He used to always stand by his daughter. Mr. Singh, who was in his thirties, had a well-built body that complemented his attractive face. Because he was Country Mayor, he has high standards in everything he does. He wished for his daughter's career to be a huge success.

Mrs. Singh scowled at her husband.

"She's getting worse because of you. I'm don't know why I married you, you're a dumb father!"

"It's because of my good looks."

Mr. Singh's hilarious response made Kavya and David burst out laughing.

"This isn't going to stop, so I'd better leave quietly."

Kavya walked on tiptoes, making no noise, and no one noticed.

She entered inside her room.

"Iva..."

Her words stuck in her throat, and she became completely dumb after her gaze fell on him.

As her gaze fell on the figure sitting on the sofa, her expression shifted from ecstatic to voracious.

He was dressed in a black shirt and black pants, with his sleeves folded up to his elbows and his hands clutching a book. His shirt's undone top buttons revealed his well toned chest between folds of muscles.

He appeared to be in his twenties. His features are best described as a sharp pointed nose, hazel eyes, a strong jawline, and attractive lips. His skin was fair, and he had a strong, attractive muscular body.

He was so engrossed in his book that he didn't notice Kavya had entered and sat in front of him.

"Are you really that busy, Ivaan?"

"Yes...No.." After seeing her, he quickly changed his response.

"I was just too focused; this book is incredible." It drew me in, I'm sorry I didn't notice you."

"Whatever," Kavya said, ignoring him.

He set the book down and looked at her.

"You're looking like a beauty queen today."

Her eyes light up when she hears Ivaan's compliment.

"Oh, really?" "Do I look that lovely today?"

"Yes, you do resemble an ugly duckling."

He bursts out laughing as he says this.

After hearing such a remark from him, she frowned.

"You.. I will beat you if you don't stop laughing... don't put me to the test, I will..."

She yelled at him in rage, began looking for something to throw at him, and finally her eyes found something.

She hurls the sofa's pillows at him.

Ivaan crossed his arms in front of his face to avoid being hit.

"Your mother was correct; if you spend the entire day in the old storeroom, you will soon turn into a garbage disposal."

He teased her yet again.

"Keep quiet, I'm not going to turn into a garbage disposal. You are garbage."

"If I am garbage then you're a dustbin, I'll be thrown inside of you."

*Hahaha*

"You..."

She was enraged and irritated now by his jokes.

When Ivaan saw her with a sad face, he decided to stop cracking jokes.

"I'm sorry for what I said; I was just kidding." "Relax!"

"In reality, I wanted to say, "The first second I saw you, I couldn't get over how beautiful you are."

His husky seducing voice gave her chills, she gulped nervously. Her face flushed with shyness. For a few moments, she mistook him for her lover who was madly in love with her.

"Are you blushing, Kavya?"

"Umm...God, you always make me blush so much." Now stop teasing me."

"Oh! really? "Why?" Ivaan gave her a curious stare.

"B-Because...I... Quit smiling at me, I can't stop messing up my sentences when you look at me like that."

He stopped smiling because he could now feel the intensity of the room's atmosphere. It was becoming awkward.

"Let's go, a new game has launched."

He started changing the topic.

"New game, is it Melida's star wars series?"

"No, I think it's a new package."

They were discussing the video games played in the theater with real players.

"All right, let's go look at it."

Returning to the upstairs' first floor.

"Where are you two going?" Mrs. Singh questioned them when she noticed them going upstairs on the roof.

"Aunty, we're going on a city ride."

He replied and dragged Kavya upstairs because he knew her mother would start questioning her.

"Thank you for getting me out of there, dude."

"No worries, babes."

They both got on their flying bikes and put on the helmet.

It was a fully automatic electronic flying bike which also had a fuel system. All you have to do is mark a location on your wrist watch map and connect it to your bike's map system. It was similar to a racing bike with ultra boosters that gave it super speed. It does not require wheels because there is no road system.

"Oh my goodness!" She let out a sigh.

"What happened? Why aren't you starting the bike?"

"I-I left my wristwatch in my room."

Ivaan was choking on his laughter as a result of her innocent response. She was concerned because she had forgotten her wrist watch.

"How amusing and adorable."

"Hey, why are you making a long face? Come sit on my bike. I know you can't go back to get your watch because of your mother."
