Jericho’s POV,

After leaving the storage room where I had met Alex and Leia, I headed back to my office to continue with the paperwork but I couldn’t just focus. I don’t know why I felt so affected at the sight of Alex and Leia together, her choosing Alex over me.

Maybe it’s the guilt that I owe her a huge debt to correct my grave mistake but the fact that she doesn’t want to spare me a chance was making me lose brain cells.

I forced myself to concentrate on the paperwork and after a few hours I was done.

I decided to man up and went to Leia. Just as I was at the door, I heard her voice saying.

“Yes, just mobilize our men and have them track down motherfucking Herman. I’ll take care of the rest once he’s found,” venom resonated with her voice as she said.

I barged into the room without knocking and thankfully the door wasn’t locked. I made sure to lock it though from the moment I stepped in.

“You don’t have to worry about that. I’ve already gotten rid of the bastard," I spat
