I kept hearing my name but my body was too weak to respond, I was tired and wanted to be left alone, I was tired of everything happening to me.

"Aurora!"

I heard my name this time. It was louder and filled with fear. I slowly opened my eyes, staring at the blurred person in front of me. My body was still weak and I couldn't move. I was slowly regaining my senses as I stared at Mr. King who stared back at me with worry-filled eyes.

"Sir?" I managed to say as my throat felt dry and painful. I looked around and noticed I was in the room…. On my bed, I quickly jerked up, eyeing him suspiciously, I tried moving around to know if we had done it but I felt no pain down there, it was just my throat that ached.

I tilted my head at him wondering if I had done what I thought I had done.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" Mr. King asked to get up from my bed. He looked like he had come from the office straight to my house, my mind was still wavy
