Dylan's POV

“Don't talk nonsense.” I chuckled, finding Kane's words quite amusing. “She's just trying to play a game, and I won't be the pawn in her game of chess.”

“But you…”

“No but.” I dismissed Kane's words with a grunt, my mind already focused on another issue. "What about the rogue in the dungeon?" I asked Kane, my voice firm but steady. "Is he ready to talk?"

Kane nodded, a frown creasing his face. "He's been asking to speak with you, Alpha. But he's insisted that it has to be just the two of you."

I raised an eyebrow, feeling a surge of curiosity. What could this rogue possibly want to say to me that he couldn't say in front of Kane or anyone else?

"Why does he want to speak with me alone?" I inquired, feeling a pang of confusion about the rogue's request.

Kane shrugged, his expression uncertain. "I don't know, Alpha. He just keeps saying that it's something he needs to tell you personally."
