The ambience that hitherto would be pleasant around I and the others on usual days, was absent that night. The lights in the room were turned on, but we all lay on their various beds, doing what didn't actually matter.

The guys held their phones, scrolling through it, and not paying me any heed. Or not. I caught them stealing glances at me, a couple of times. With the exception of Thomas of course.

I stared at them, as they did their thing. And when the silence suddenly became unbearable, I cleared my throat, in a bid to break it.

"Would anyone care to explain what actually happened yesterday. What is going on?" I asked in a calm manner, as I tapped gently on the bedspread.

The guys all raised their heads from their phones, and threw me a quick look.

"What do you mean?" Lazarus asked.

"Spare me that, please. I mean, what happened? Did we actually.." my words trailed off, as my cheeks turned a shade of crimson.
