Chapter 9

She swallowed hard. Her throat felt very dry. She had the desire to remove her eyes from his body  but she  didn’t.  She didn’t want him to think  that she was greatly  affected by him. She did her best to just casually look up from his bare torso to his face. He opened the door wider.

"Hello babe. Why are you  here? Come inside,” he invited her with a sexy drawl and she sighed.

She didn’t want to enter but they couldn’t talk if she won’t get in. She walked to the living room. She almost caught her breath when she smelled him. He smelled so good.  He looked as if he had just a shower and was about to get dressed when she  rang the bell. A suitcase was near a door which was probably a bedroom.

"Do you want anything? Coffee? I can order breakfast for us," he said.

 Luke  was taking in her loveliness. She was  in a simple dress but it didn’t hide her natural beauty
