Lailah POV“ Yes Aunt Mavis, don’t worry I am on my way to a convenient store to buy something to eat and then I will go to the shop and go to sleep.” I told Aun Mavis who was at the after-party of Peral’s wedding right now to observe the decorations in case something was out of place. A sigh slipped from Caesar’s lips as he came out of the shower while drying his wet locks with a towel in his hand. His body, even though covered by the robe, is obvious that he takes great care of his physique. Lailah groaned as she fluttered her eyes open and she felt aching all over her body. The unfamiliar ceiling was enough to make her spring from her position as she looked around the strange room. “W-where am I-” Lailah questioned herself as her lips wobbled in fear and pieces of last night flashed across her mind giving her a cold shiver to her spine. She was kidnapped by some group of men who made her fell unconscious and one of them was about to rape her last night. Lailah flinched at the harsh tone that roared in the room, averting her gaze from him, too afraid to face him since she knew she'd be dead if he found out she was trying to escape. Lailah's heart raced as she gripped her fist, pressing her nails into her palm, anxious to escape this confining predicament. She knew that revealing her intentions would only make matters worse, but the fear of being discovered was overwhelming. "Sir, we have retrieved the CCTV from the CVS" The constable reported a hard disk in his hand as he passed it to his senior. "Okay, call the lady outside. She's been around the station for two days" The senior police officer sighed, glancing through the glass mirror of his office door while the constable nodded in response Mavis burst into the senior officer's room as soon as she heard they got the footage.
