Chapter 3

RAVEN'S POV

The movie ended but I stayed . It was getting quieter while people were walking out .

"Uh hey" a manly voice called me .

I slightly opened my eyes to see a tall , good looking guy with a cheeky smile , staring at me .

"Yeah?" I said with a slight hint of annoyance .

I got up . And decided to get out of here. My new assignment would be waiting for me .

"I'm Aiden . Well , I saw you sitting alone . I thought I might get to know your name. '' he stuttered .

I gave him a wtf look with raised eyebrows . His smile suddenly disappeared. Sad but good . I hate people smiling at me .

"I .. I mean . I thought you might be someone I know . I just .. I'm sorry actually . Nevermind. " he said nervously . Rubbing the back of his neck .

"Do I look scary to you?" I asked in a normal tone , I guess.

"What? What no .. of course not ." He laughed awkwardly.

"You seem scared," I said .

"Uh .. I.. I'm gonna go ." He said and turned around rushing outside .

Such a weirdo .

I arrived at Mr.Bristol's House. Well his house and office are pretty much the same thing .

Entering the room I sat on the chair behind his desk . He wasn't around . So imma wait for him .

Looking at the things on his table . I got curious and opened one of the drawers . It was all stupid stuff . Files of the people who are already dead . Why tho ? Why does he need it?

Then I tried to open the second one . But it's locked .

Ugh damn it !

I tried hard . But it just won't open . Stupid drawer.

"It's rude to go through other people's stuff without asking. " Mr.Bristol said, clearing his throat .

I looked up at him and rolled my eyes . Annoying person .

My gaze suddenly diverted to the packet in his hands .

"What's that?" I asked, pointing with my eyes.

"Your new project ." He said with a smile .

"I told you I'm not interested in doing projects . Short assignments are good ." I sighed heavily . Laying my head back and closing my eyes .

"Take a look . I bet you are gonna like it ." He said, keeping the file in front of me .

"I won't. Take it away ." I said , still in my position.

"Well , you waited six years for this . I don't think you want me to throw this away. '' as soon as these words left his mouth , my blood rushed.

I stared at him with wide eyes and he nodded . Finally , waiting is over .

I took the file in my hands and opened it . The details of every single person . Their picture . I just wanted to tear them apart .

"I have already made a plan ." Mr.Bristol said .

"For what ?" I was confused .

"What do you mean for what ? You need a plan to get this man ." He said pointing at that disgusted old man's picture .

"I am just gonna kill him with my bare hands . I don't need a plan ." I stated every word clearly.

"Raven , he is protected by twenty professional guards . Nobody. Not even his own family could be around him without his guards . This snake doesn't trust anyone . If you want to attack him you need to do it using your brain . " he justified.

I sighed in frustration . Biting down my lips harshly. This sly fox . I wish I could just rip off his throat right now .

"Okay . What do you get ?" I asked.

"This ." He said, handing me another file .

I took it and opened it . It was something regarding a PA job for some company's president . "One stroke" I read the name of the company as I read all the details .

"The fuck is this ?" I asked, looking up at him .

"Your new job." He said with that sly smile .

"Oh no no no . This is so not gonna happen ." I shaked my head walking around the sofa in the room .

"Raven , this is the best way to get what you have longed for . He is his son . You can get him through this person. " he said .

"So you want me to play some office games ?" I asked.

"Oh god ! Raven listens . You just need to go there . Make him fall for you . So that he could take you to meet his family and then you can get him the easier and safer way ." He explained .

"Wait woah calm down dude will ya ? You are saying I should make this man fall in love with me so that I can kill his father easily . I should do all the stupidest things in the world just to kill someone who I resent the most ?" I folded my arms and gave him the deadliest look ever .

"Yeah . Just think about it . You get in there as a PA and then make him fall for you . When he finally does then meet his family and get close to them . Kill his father and let this boy know who you really are . He will automatically start to hate you . You would kill two birds with one arrow ." He excitedly explained his master plan .

"And what If anything went wrong ? What if he doesn't fall for me ?" I asked .

"He will be sweetheart . You are beautiful . And I know you can make it work . Because you didn't forget what you have gone through because of them . See you are still suffering and they are living happily ." He said with that creepy tone . Now I can't even fight for it .

"Okay ." I said in a low whisper .

I didn't even have a choice . I don't want to pull an innocent person into this shit of mine .

But then again . I can't really forget what happened in the past.
