Chapter 2: Reborn (1)

*Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep*

In a spacious white room full of medical pieces of equipment, eight different figures can be seen wearing a bloodied surgical clothes and surgical mask with a stain of blood are moving very fast, and in those eyes, the panic, fear, and hopelessness are clearly seen and the beeping sound of the machines that are connected to the bloodied silver haired young man lying in the operating table are making them more nervous.

The operating room was already light continuously for almost seven hours, and outside the operating room, there are rows of doctors who are well known in different fields of medicine and some of them even have blood splattered in their surgical clothes.

These doctors have been standing for almost seven hours already but they did not complain nor uttered a single protest. Instead, they are quite nervous as they wait for their turn to enter the operating room.

They have been summoned and gathered here by their superiors as they canceled all of their schedules and appointments just to save the Young Man who is lying inside the operating room! The operation this time is very different, and that is because of the identity of the young man lying in the operation table.

They are very aware of the identity of the patient who is currently lying inside the operation room, he is the only son of the left prime minister of the country and the only Young Patriarch of the Wei Guardian Family! He was in no way a simple patient!

Their work and even their life is the one who is on the line here. They must save the Young Patriarch or at least stabilized his vitals first until the doctor sends by the Wei Guardian family arrived, to take over the job to heal the Young Patriarch.

They all know to well their self and they known that its impossible for them to save the Young Patriarch with the level of their medical skills so they can not take any risk and all they could do is stabilise the patient conditions.

Another thirty minutes of full of tensed atmosphere passed by and even though the hallway have an air conditioner, all of the present doctors have been sweating already as they cannot stop the fear that slowly creeping it way to their heart!

"Doctor Yun has arrived! Doctor Yun is here!" - A excited voice with a tinge of relief rung outside the operating room which made all of the doctors who heard it sigh in relief. This time, they knew that they were all already safe, and they knew that the Young Patriarch inside the operation room can be fully healed by Doctor Yun.

All the doctors turn in the entrance of the hallway as they saw a tall and lean figure covered in surgical clothes rushed towards them and he's being followed by eight people who are also wearing the same clothes as him, as some of them were carrying some pieces of equipment.

The man called Doctor Yun entered the operating room together with the eight people following him as he ordered all the doctors inside to get out. The doctors did not protest and instead, they felt relieved as they rushed outside the operating room. They have already done their best and they are still not sure if they can heal the Young Patriarch as his injuries are very grave.

So it's good that Doctor Yun arrived as they all know his capabilities. He can surely cure the Young Patriarch laying inside the operating table.

Although the doctors want to go in the observer room to watch the operating room to witness the techniques of the famous and well recognize number one doctor in huxia; They will surely learn a lot by just watching him perform surgery but too bad, they cannot stay as they were all driven away by the bodyguards who just entered and stood in front of the door so they can only leave dejectedly.

"This is!" - Doctor Yun's eyes widen in shock as he saw the appearance of the silver-haired young man who is currently lying on the operating table.

The news that was released in the public said, that it was not a graved accident so they thought it was also like that. But one hour later after the news got released, The Left Prime Minister run towards him to ask for his help and he immediately understood that the accident is more serious than the news that has been reported in public.

Although before agreeing to help, he asked first his superior and he received the approval of His Majesty the Emperor to immediately save the only son of the Left Prime Minister Wei, that's why he immediately drop what he is doing and immediately flew here to D City together with his team, but he never expected to see such a heartbreaking sight!

The silver-haired sixteen years oldd young man's body was covered in different sizes of wounds from head to toe, And his breathing is very weak and shallow that it seems like, at any moment, he will cease in breathing!

The other doctors brought by Doctor Yun immediately move as they read the charts and vitals of the young man in the operation table to understand his current situation.

"Doctor Yun, The Young Patriarch has a Head injuries, His skull is lightly crack and He also has broken bones in his legs, ribs, and in his back that almost touch his spinal cord, and he even has a four-degree burn injury." - One of the doctors said with a quivering voice after checking the young man's current situation.

He cannot believe that the young man manage to survive these past hours with these heavy injuries when he is basically at his death door! The young man was a tough one to not succumb to his wounds!

After hearing the voice of one of his subordinates, Doctor Yun was pulled back in reality as he immediately approached the Young Man at the operating table and said with a serious voice, "Let's start. We cannot let anything bad happen to the successor."

Finally, The tightly closed door of the operating room opened and Doctor Yun came out while the others remained inside, arranging to transfer the silver-haired Young Patriarch to a private room.

It's been almost twenty-four hours since Doctor Yun entered the operating room and they all did their best to their abilities to treat the young man and finally, they manage to pull him out of hell's door, as they finished the operation successfully.

"Brother Yun, how's my son?" - Doctor Yun took off his mask and gloves as he looked at the approaching man in his early forties. This man is the Left Prime Minister of Edrinon, Wei Jing Guan; the father of Young Patriarch Wei Zhi Yin, who they just finished operating.

Yun Xi Lian sigh as he handed his gloves and mask to his assistant who just came out of the operation room before he turned his head to answer the question of the Left Prime Minister Wei.

"Brother Wei, I'll be honest with you as we know each other for decades already. I just hoped that you calm yourself as you listen to what I said."

"Hmm. I understand Brother Wei. How's my son condition?" — Wei Jing Guan asked hastily

"Bother Wei, The current situation of your son is not optimistic. Your son has suffered very grave injuries and even I, we're amazed that he can still last long until the surgery was completed. His one foot is already at death's door when we arrived, and I am afraid that if I arrived a little bit late, he is already on his way to see the king of hell.

Brother Wei, We already did our best, and we can only wait to observe his conditioned these up coming days. And I want to say this to you now so that you will remember it.

If his condition is revealed as soon as he arrived at this hospital, I am sure you will seek me earlier for help and I should have operated on him much earlier on. Brother Wei should know that if I operated him on time, his chances of being able to survive would be higher."

"What do you mean by that Brother Yun?" Wei Jing Guan could not help but ask with a frown after hearing the last part of his words. His head is in chaos right now because of his son's accident so he cannot think properly.

"What I'm trying to say is, The Young Patriarch conditioned got worsen because he was lying in the operating table for almost seven hours before I arrived, and with the doctors skills here, they cannot even do anything to prevent his internal injuries to worsen.

They didn't even find a person with a internal force to help them to stabilise the conditions of the Young Patriarch before I arrived. His body cannot take the burden of those many hours he's lying in the operating table without even a single successful surgery done.

If only the news of his real conditions is not concealed and got it directly reported to you without delay, then his chances of surviving and waking up after the surgery are higher. Brother Wei, this time, I'm not confident when is it or if Young Wei will wake up.

I already did all my best and I even help Young Wei treat his internal injuries with my Internal force but I cannot completely heal them as you already know, We can't really completely heal others when we're using our internal force in them, so it's already comes to Young Patriarch if he can wake up or not. If he wakes up, then that's good as he can use his own Internal force to heal himself."

Wei Jing Guan cannot help but took a deep breath as he understood everything that Doctor Yun said.

"What exactly is his injuries and wounds?" He asked

Doctor Yun look at the Middle age man in front of him and sigh as he said, "His right leg bone has been broken and although we already fixed it earlier but once Young Wei woke up, he will suffer from extremely painful feelings because of it and it will take at least more than a year or two before he can use it as a normal person should.

Plus he also suffered from fourth-degree burn injuries in some parts of his body, which injured his deeper tissues such as his muscle and tendons. But that's already been healed and his skin is back to normal as I use my internal force to heal his burn injuries and lastly..." After hearing that, Wei Jing Guan cannot believe it as he took a step back and almost collapsed to the ground, luckily one of his bodyguards immediately supported him.

"Lastly? What's wrong this time?" - Wei Jing Guan asked weakly.

"Young Patriarch Wei, He suffered from head and brain injuries. He has concussions, internal bleeding, and he also has a slight fracture on his skull. His bone at his back is also injured and it is closed to his spinal cord. As you can see Brother Wei, Young Wei's injuries are very heavy that's why I cannot predict when he will wake up or if he will ever wake up.

If another person is in place of your son right now, they've already died on the spot of the accident. Your son only manage to survive until I arrived because of his strong Internal Force that sustain his life. I've already done my best.

This time it will depend on the willpower of Young Wei if he wants to wake up or not. I'm sorry Brother Wei." - After hearing that, Wei Jing Guan became dizzy. He cannot believe that his one and only son; His only successor's situation is not good right now, Not sure if he will ever wake up.

Wei Jing Guan took a deep breath as he opens his mouth and weakly asked, "Brother Yun you said that his head is injured. W-When he wake's up, is there a chance that it affects his thinking ability?"

When hearing that question, Doctor Yun Xi Lian immediately understood why he is asking it. Young Wei is very popular with young ladies and even elders because he is handsome and genius. He has a high IQ & EQ also. He is calm and gentle not like the Young Masters of other families who are arrogant but doesn't have really a capability and strength.

Besides, two months ago, his son already received his college degree from the imperial university, the number one university in Edrinon. He is not the only one who got a completion degree all these years, but he is the youngest one and had the highest completion grades, this proves that he is at the top of the younger generation of Edrinon.

So it's natural for Wei Jing Guan to be concerned about his son's thinking capability once he wake-ups.

Yun Xi Lian sigh in Pity as he said,  "I'm not also sure Brother Wei. As you know, The head is the most complicated part of the human body and until now, The medical world cannot really determine if a person thinking ability is affected while they are not awake. We can only wait and see once Young Wei woke up."

Wei Jing Guan gripped his bodyguard arms as he uses them for support as he looked at the operation door that was open while Doctor Yun's team members pushed the bed where a young man lay with closed eyes as his body is full of bandages from head to toe.

Wei Jing Guan closed his eyes as he took a deep breath as he looks at Yun Xi Lian as he said, "Brother Yun, I will be leaving my son's care to you this time. And Thank you for saving him."

"No need to thank me, brother Wei. Instead, You should thank His Majesty for allowing me to do the surgery for young Wei."

"Hmm. I know. I will definitely give my thanks to His Majesty."
