HAYDEN'S POV:-

I and Derek were running in the direction where we caught Evangeline's scent. I was told that her father took her somewhere but her grandfather told me to find her. He said something was not right and he could feel it. Luckily, Derek was in the territory. I called him and we started searching for Evangeline. Just then, the mark she gave me, it started burning. As if someone poured boiling lava on that mark.

I told Derek as I was not sure what was happening. He said it is a sign that someone is touching my mate. It did not take us long as Derek smelled something that made him growl bitterly. He shifted into his wolf form but not before he informed me what it was. He said he smelled rogues around.
