Jay knew what his uncle meant earlier by his words, he wondered why his uncle can't direct the same strength he uses on him to advise his son to desist from an uncivilized act. When they went to Mr. Eric's office earlier, they gave each staff member a letter. Those that are posted to Lagos received theirs. Like two others that will follow Jay to Edo got theirs, and those he doubted, especially Jay's supervisor, were handed theirs nicely. And those who he had not found fault in them, got their letter of salary increment, every one with his letter. At about 1:25 noon, the meeting was closed and everyone formed a group to discuss the content of their letter, some headed home straight as Jay did. After the funeral of my dad, my mom stayed at home wearing white clothes alone for three months, as the custom of the land to grieve for her husband. She was emotionally exhausted. After roaming on a lonely way alone for an hour, I saw two people returning from the farm. "Hello ma, does this road lead to mama biggie's farm?" I asked to be sure I am on the right road. He sounds amusing and fearsome at the same time. At 3 o'clock noon, I left Wuse for the Prime hotel at Gwarinpa by 1st avenue.
