Faye's POV
Mr Samuelson, my English teacher, continued talking about whatever he was talking about in the first place, his words were too far for me to hear, yet I kept jotting down important details on my notebook. My mind was blank and my eyes were glued to Mr Samuelson's mahogany table right in the front of the classroom.
Then, just before he was about to add something else, the bell rang indicating that our fourth period just ended. Now, it's lunch time. I leaned back on my chair for a moment and watched the rest of the students filed out of the classroom and then I closed my notebook and placed all my pens and other small items inside my pencil case before putting both inside my bag.
The minute I looked up, I saw Jonathan walking out of the classroom in front of me and swinging his black school bag over one shoulder. Sometimes, I can't control myself when I'm looking right at him. I can't force myself to look away but then, he sometimes caught me staring at him but he didn't say anything or even do anything except smirk back at me.
But this time, he looked up and we locked eyes and then he winked at me.
He
actuallywinkedatme! He walked out of the classroom with the rest of the remaining students, while I'm the only one still in an empty room with my breath hitching in my throat.
What
wasthatallabout? Was that a random wink? Or is there a special meaning to that wink?
I quickly walked out of the classroom and joined the crowd of students that were rushing through the hallways. But making my way through the crowd, has never been a problem for me. People just backed to the side or let me walk through because they know who I am and the type of family background I have as well.
I walked in to the already crowded cafeteria and spot our table that is right in the middle of the room, occupied by none other then Kaycee. And from across our table, just a few feet away, is my brother and his squad's table which is mostly occupied by him, Toby and Mike. But today I was surprised to find that the guy that was new here in school just a few months ago, that is from England, was also sitting with them.
Andy Fitzroy.
Tall, blond, brown eyed, very handsome and has that small tinge of an England accent in his tone that probably drives girls crazy when they hear him talk.
I walked over to our table with my lunch tray in hand, and sat down in front of Kaycee while placing my bag on the empty chair next to me and my tray of food right in front of me.
Kaycee glanced at me with a smile and then looked back to her phone. I unscrew the cap of the bottle of lime juice in front of me and took a sip.
"What are you looking at?" She glanced at me again and then shook her head.
"Stalking your future husband's i*******m account." I rolled my eyes, when I realized that she was referring to Jonathan.
"Didn't we do that last week? I'm sure you won't find anything new or interesting." She chuckled.
"That's where you're wrong my friend. He just posted a recent pic on his story, of him taking a bathroom mirror selfie, with all his delicious abs on display and a white towel hanging dangerously below his waist, and guess what he wrote as his caption?"
I raised a questioning brow before shrugging.
"On the hunt!" She exclaimed causing me to frown in confusion.
"Meaning?" She scoffed in disbelief.
"Meaning, he's hunting for his next new target, and we both know that you're also on the list Faye." It was my turn to scoff in disbelief before biting into my sandwich.
"Can we not go over this again? I have better things to-" I stopped talking immediately when I noticed that she was not looking at me anymore but probably at someone or something behind me, with her mouth slightly opened.
I frowned before turning around in my seat and then looked behind me to see what's going on as well. But the person standing behind me was the last person I was expecting to see again so soon. So i froze while staring up at him.
"Hey Faye." His deep masculine voice said, and the way my name rolled off his tongue so gently, makes my heart skipped a terrifying beat.
"Um, hi." He kept smiling at me, and then I quickly glanced around and saw everyone staring at us by now. I looked back at him and then slowly stood up to face him.
"What's up?" He reached out and held my hand, catching me off guard.
"Faye, before I ask you this, I just wanna let you know that you're one of the most beautiful girls I know. You're smart and beautiful, you help others even when they do not ask for it, you're also one of the most caring person I know. We may not know each other very well, but I wanna change that between us, which is why I'm gonna ask you this. It's sudden, I know, but I just wanna grab this chance before any other guy does."
My heart started beating so fast because of the way he just said all those things loud enough for everyone to hear and also why people are watching and taking videos of everything like their lives depended on it.
"Faye, will you go out with me?"
I froze. My breathing stopped and my heart nearly hammered itself out of my chest.
Is
thisreallyhappeningrightnow? AmIhearingitallright? Ohmygod!"Faye?" He asked me again, managing to snap me out of my thoughts.
"Yes?" I nearly slapped myself for making it sound like a question more then an answer. And also because, why didn't I just say that I'll think about it first? Instead, i said yes right away.
God, what
ishappeningrightnow?!"Great." He stepped a little closer towards me, our noses almost touching, and then he pulled my phone out of my jeans back pocket and started typing something on it.
A few seconds later, he handed my phone back to me and smiled with a hint of mischievousness in his expression.
"That's my number. Text me when you're ready and I'll pick you up. Oh and, wear something sexy yet formal for a dinner date."
I clutched my phone tightly to my chest and watched him stride away back to his own table where his friends were cheering him on as if he just completed one of their stupid dares. And I really really hope to god, that whatever just happened was not it.
Everyone resumed what they were doing right after recording and hearing everything, and i sat down on my seat again and turned around to face Kaycee.
"Please tell me I'm not dreaming?" She smiled and then pinched my arm, and i refrained from yelping in pain.
"You're not. So, you happy now?" I forced out a chuckle.
"How am I suppose to feel happy right now when I'm still trying to recover from shock after going through one of the moments with Jonathan, that I've always fantasize about?"
"Well, you got your wish come true and I'm telling you, all the other girls reactions when Jonathan asked you out, they were seriously thinking of murdering you right now. So how does it feel to be asked out on a dinner date with none other then one of our famous bad boys, Jonathan Ryder?"
I sighed dreamily and leaned my chin on my palm.
"It still feels like I'm dreaming, but right now, all I can think of doing is screaming and jumping like crazy." She laughed at me.
"Chill Faye. It's just a dinner date." I slowly nodded.
"Yeah I know that. It will just be a normal dinner, that's all." She looked away and continued going through her phone, while i quickly reached out and grabbed the bottle of lime juice again and gulping down a few drops.

Writing Helps Your Clear Your MindWe've all sometimes felt the need to vent and speak our minds in order to get our point across.Well, writing can help you do that.Try and write down all of your thoughts, grievances, doubts, fantasies, and pretty much everything else that crosses your mind. Just write, without thinking about what lands on paper or your computer screen. Madison'sPOV"Hi guys, we're here." All heads turned to the front entrance as kaycee's parents arrived with kaycee following behind wearing a beautiful looking dark green dress that compliments her eyes. Mr and Mrs Ivero kissed Gabriella on the cheek and then greeted the other family members with hugs and air kisses. We were all gathered in the living room area, talking and making conversations with everyone while we waited for lunch to be prepared.I decided to wear a pretty baby blue dress with my hair curled and clipped on the side with a shiny hair clip, and with not so much makeup on. Being with Jake's family like this makes me happy and excited that they decided to invite me for their Sunday lunch with all the other family members. Except the grandparents from both sides cos
Madison'sPOVWe arrived at the five star hotel where the party is held, and as soon as the limo pulled up at the front entrance the driver got out of the car and opened the door for us. I carefully stepped out of the car, holding the side's edge of my dress so I will not step on it. Jake came out after me and he placed his hand on the small of my back before we walk in.As soon as I entered the lobby, my eyes quickly wandered around the room taking in the small amount of people standing about that were dressed to impress. The paparazzi group were standing on the other corner in front of the front desk and the minute they saw us walking in, camera flashes with a few loud voices erupted inside the room. I was momentarily blinded by the sudden flashing, but Jake kept me walking till
Madison'sPOV"Yeah...it's fine dad. I'll see you guys next week then? Okay, love you. Bye." I ended the call and threw my phone on top of the pile of books lying next to me on top of my bed.I'm so exhausted because I've been working on all my essays that are gonna be due sometimes next week, and since it's Saturday, I usually do all my homework before going out or hanging out with Nicky. I lay my head on my hands and stared at the wall in front of me and sighed. It's almost a month now since I last saw him again. I feel kinda bad and mad at myself at the same time because I never listened to what he was trying to tell me. I'm not that type of person to just confront someone and leave without letting them explain themselves. I li
Jake'sPOVI hurried down the hallway, maneuvering my way through the crowd, making my waytowards the front double doors of the school where I can get to my car that's parked in the parking lot and then drive off to pick up Madison. I don't know why this keep happening to me nowadays, it's like I want to see her almost every time and when I don't, then I start feeling restless.I think...I'm really starting to like this girl. Not the kind of 'like' where I ask her out on a few dates and then just leave it at that. No, I want us to be something more then that. I want us to be official, like boyfriend and girlfriend kind of official. As soon as I walked out of the school buil
Madison'sPOVSunday morning, I woke up with a bad dream. I was in a dark alley, surrounded by Jake's uncles and his dad and Jake as well. They were all aiming a gun at me. I couldn't run, I couldn't do anything with my body, it was like I was really frozen on the spot. Then, when I turned my head to the side, I saw a few dead bodies lying on my feet. My parents bodies and so was Nicky.A strangled scream managed to escape my lips, waking me up from the nightmare immediately. I was drenched with sweat and my heart beat was increasing. I can't think straight anymore. Every time I tried, my mind kept going back to Jake's and Mr Castillo's conversation yesterday.I slowly pulled myself out of bed, and then walked in to my bathroom to
