Chapter Hundred and Eight -Farah or not?

The town was alive with activity, and the cloaked figures blended in seamlessly with the bustling crowd. The sun beat down on them as they stood in the center of town, surrounded by humans going about their daily business.

Diana wrinkled her nose and made a face. "Humans stink," she commented, her tone unimpressed.

Velia couldn't help but chuckle at her friend's reaction, playfully nudging Diana's shoulder. "You should have thought of that before you volunteered to investigate your luna," she teased, holding up a sketch of Farah, the object of their investigation.

Diana huffed, her lips forming a pout. "She's not my Luna," she retorted, though the denial was laced with a touch of bitterness.

Velia couldn't blame her friend for feeling that way. Farah was a far cry from the compassionate and caring Luna that Diana and the whole werewolf race deserved, and Velia knew that her loyalty belonged to another.
