I stood in front of the tall window in the chambers watching as Mobali my room to the castle grounds to see that Mobali had already shifted into his human form holding in his wolf form rushes into the castle gates with Aret on his back.

I gasp, rushing out of Aret who seemed limp in his arms.

“What did you do to her?” I question, he raised his eyes in my direction.

“She was attacked by rogues, apparently, she had escaped from the castle and no one knew, not even you, her best friend.”

I gulped, taking a step back as I felt a warm hand squeezing my arm and I felt safe.

“Why wouldn’t she escape after finding out how much of a kill freak you people are?” he stopped abruptly in his footsteps.
