Grace Alder pov.

We exit the lift together and walked towards the car.

I stopped in my track when I saw the brand new Aston Martin Vantage in front of me. OMG, I'm a huge fan of luxury cars.

Fucking Shit that's one hella amazing car. I love the Aston Martin Vantage series. 

" I'll take it as you like my baby. " Mr. Glen said from behind. 

" Is this yours?" I asked.

" Of course. " he proudly said.

" Ryan has this obsession with luxury cars. " Noah comments. 

" That's beautiful. "I said looking at the beauty in front of me. I was still in shock at what I'm seeing on. " You wanna ride it. " Mr. Glen asked. 

" No. " His smile dropped at my answer. " I don't wanna ride it, I wanna drive it. But that's fine. " I replied. 

" You want to drive it?" Mr. Glen asked and I nodded. " I do someone day in future when I will buy one on my own. " I replied. 

" We don't have to wait for that. " He said and pulled the car keys in front of me. 

"Wait No fucking way... Are allowing her to drive your car? YOUR BABY?" Noah gasped in shock. 

"No Mr. Glen that's fine.. I don't mean it like that. " I don't want him to see me like I'm after his car or money. 

" That's fine and like the shine in your eyes when you saw the car. This exactly happened to me when I first saw this beauty and I want nothing else but just to drive it. " 

" Mr. Glen-" "First stop calling me Mr. Glen and call me Ryan and second you are driving my baby and that's the finale. Let's go Aldrik is here. " I turned to see Mr. Kingsley coming our way. 

" Aldrik you won't believe it.. Ryan allowed Grace to drive his car.. " Noah dramatically. 

" Really?" Mr. Kingsley looks shocked. " Come on you're overreacting Noah. " He said and pulled me with him to his car. Mr. Kingsley and Noah went to another car. 

" You know how to drive right?" Mr. Glen asked. 

" If you don't believe me then why are you agreed? " I asked. " I do believe you but you know I'm quite touchy for my cars. " I laughed at his reaction. 

" Don't worry I'm a pro driver. " I said and start the engine. " Woah... " I loved the sound of this car. Gosh, I'm one lucky woman who get the chance to drive this beauty. 

" Well, you are quite a good driver I must say. " I gave him I-told-you look. 

" Let me ask you something, Why don't you like me?" My eyes were on road. 

" It's like that it's just you're just annoying sometimes. " I replied and he laughed. 

" Jesus women you at least lie that you like me. " 

" Why would I do that?" I watch him nodding his head in no. 

" You're the first women who said that to me that too on my face. " I chuckled. " You are something else. " 

" By the way thanks for giving me the chance to drive this beauty. It's a lifetime experience for me. " I said smiling at him. 

" I'm glad you like something about me. " 

" It's not you, it's this car you know. " He gasped.

" Gosh, women please stop insulting me after driving my car. " I instantly regret to say those to him. I just say that as a joke. 

" Sorry I don't want to hurt you I was joking. " I said with puppy eyes look. He laughed and shook his head. 

" I like you. " 

" What?" I asked. Is he serious? " I mean I like your attitude. I like how carelessly you talk. " 

" Thanks. " I murmured and hit on breaks as we reach our destination. 

Inside the restaurant was totally empty, I thought they want so much privacy. " So how was the ride? " Noah asks me. " Amazing," I said smiling brightly. 

"You're lucky he let you drive his baby, otherwise he never even let anyone touch it. " I'm also shocked that why he let me drive it when he loves his precious baby so much. 

"Let's take our seats. " 

Mr. Kingsley and Mr. Glen went to one table, they have to talk about something private, and me and Noah at another table. 

" So, what do you like to have? " Noah asked. 

We placed our orders and I told Noah that this lunch is on me. He argued but I said his brother paid me well so I can afford this at least once a month so why not. While waiting for our food I remember something. 

" Noah can I ask you something. "

" Yes. " 

" I told my aunt about you and she went crazy and asked me to take a picture with you so... can I?" 

" Of course. Come this side lighting is better here. " 

I finally took photos to show them to my aunt and we enjoyed it too. 

Our lunch is taking too much time so I excuse myself for a washroom break. 

When I was done with checking my hair and everything I left the washroom. Mr. Kingsley's table is just behind the curtains and  I was just passing by when I heard him. 

" Aldrik you have to understand the situation. " That's Mr. Glen. 

" Ryan I'm taking the situation seriously but you don't understand I already have high security at the office building and my house too. Luke and Alex are doing they job perfectly and we are absolutely safe here." Mr. Kingsley replied. 

" I know Luke and Alex are the best in their job but  I just told you what I heard. Just be careful. " 

I know it's rude to hear someone's private talk but I can't help. And what I heard right now sounds too private. Why you have to stop there and eavesdrop there conversation? 

Shit.. I run from that place and came back to my table. 

"You okay? You look.. startled.." Noah asked. 

" Uh.. Yeah, I'm fine. " I answered. But my mind was still in their conversation. what they talking about and Why Mr. Kingsley have to be careful? Is he some kind of danger? I kept thinking about them. 

" Hey, food is getting cold. Ryan and Aldrik are done with their meeting so are shifting with them. "  

" Oh okay. " I said and took my bag and heads toward their table. As soon I reach the smell of delicious dishes attacked me and I Dig into the amazing food in front of me. We all enjoyed our lunch and Noah told me so many things about Mr. Kingsley and Mr. Glen. They all are together from childhood with few others and they all are brothers by heart. 

Noah also told me he's gay and I was shocked my aunt has a crush on him. When I told him about my aunt's crush he laughed and told me to say sorry to her. 

After lunch, Mr. Glen and Noah left in one car because they have to go somewhere else and left me and Mr. Kingsley to go in one. 

Mr. Kingsley's bodyguard opened the door for me and I thanked him. We set inside silently. I like silence but it becomes the most irritating thing whenever I was with Mr. Kingsley. 

God this silence is killing me. Mr. Glen is much better than Mr. Kingsley in this matter. 

" Ms. Alder.." I got stunned when he suddenly called me.

" Yes? " I answered. 

" Don't ever try to eavesdrop on my conversation with anyone again. " He said looking at his tab. 

But when I.... Shit, he saw me. 

" Mr. Kings-" I was about to apologize but I cut myself. " This is the last warning for you Ms. Alder if I saw you doing that again, I'm not going to waste any minute to fire you. " He said and the door opened for him and he exits the car. 

" Fuck it was not like I did it with intentions. It just happened. " And here I'm talking to myself. 

Fuck you Grace why? why? 

After the event, I didn't encounter Mr. Kingsley again in the office. He went to attend another meeting and he told Kate that he will to his house after the meeting. 

I left when I was done with my job. 

" Good night Grace. " I looked up and saw Charles standing in front of me. 

" Hey, you're here at this time? " I asked him. 

" Yes, Luke change's my shift to night from day. " 

" Luke? " I have heard this name. 

" Luke head of security and ex-police officer. He's great at his job. " 

" Oh well, all the best. I gotta go bye. " I said and run to catch a cab. 

Reaching my apartment I laid on my bed and think about the conversation again. I tried so many times but it's just not leaving my mind. Plus Mr. Glen clearly mentions to Mr. Kingsley and Noah to be careful, Which means they are definitely in some kind of danger. 

But I'm getting worked up in this situation and he's a billionaire, he can take care of his security I don't have to worry about him.
