A not so perfect dinner

CHAPTER 15

They drove first to her apartment so she could change into something more "dinner worthy." He thought she looked perfect just the way she was, but she insisted that she had to wear something more befitting.

It took an hour for her to get ready, but to Jason it was a win-win situation; he got to see what the inside of her apartment looked like.

"You know it's kind of weird that I get to see your apartment first before our dinner, usually it's the other way around," he noted, looking around the room.

"I guess we're not exactly the ideal partners either," she said, trying to put a word to what they were.
