‎PORSHA POV

‎“I am done packing princess. We have to go now” Anne informed, dragging my luggages to the center of the room.

‎I took one final look at the room's entirety, as a dull ache rose in my chest.

‎“Anne I still can't believe, I am leaving this place. Gone to a land of no return” I said, tears pricking my eyeballs.

‎Anne dropped the luggages, rushing to my side with a worried frown on her face as she took my hands in hers.

‎“Don't think of it like that Porsha. Just think of it like you are getting a new family” She said with a reassuring smile, but the hurt in my chest only grew deeper.

‎“But I am not gaining anything Anne. Leviathan hates me, and so does his mom, I'm sure all of his wives would hate me as well" I informed, as my eyes began watering.

‎“Porsha try to be optimistic. So what if Leviathan, and his adopted mother don't like you, I am sure his mom would love a kind hearted soul like you” Anne assured, but all her words fell on deaf ears.

‎“That is not going to happen Anne. I am sure Leviathan has informed her of our squabble, and she must probably hate me by now. I don't know what the future holds Anne but I know that I will be left to suffer all alone in Ember nest" I informed in tears, my heart heavy with grief.

‎“Porsha lighten up. Look on the bright side, atleast I will be there and I promise to deal with your husband anytime he hurts you” Anne said with a straight face and I immediately burst into laughter upon seeing her minute structure.

‎“And how do you intend to do that my knight in shining armour?” I asked in-between chuckles, a spark of excitement blossoming in my chest.

‎She didn't understand my tease at all, instead she went further to suggest the most ridiculous thing, “Well, I could mix a little bit of concoction in his food that would probably give him a runny stomach”

‎I looked down at her round face and could see every atom of seriousness. She wasn't joking she actually meant every word of it.

‎I cracked up in laughter once more, this time wiping all loose tears as the pain in my heart became almost invisible.

‎“What is so funny Porsha? I'm being serious and you're laughing”

‎“Of course I am laughing you are talking rubbish. Tell me how do you think you can get away with such a crime. What if they catch you?" I doubted with a smile as I waved off her tease but apparently she wasn't done yet.

‎“It's simple Porsha. I will deny the accusation, and tell him a cat did it” She voiced after a brief minute of silence.

‎“That's ridiculous. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have cats in his castle” I informed in a bit to tease her further.

‎“Is that so?" She exclaimed, as she beat on her finger nail quietly for a few seconds.

‎“I have got an idea” She said with a smile, her face glowing with ecstasy, “What about, I blame it on a dog this time”

‎“You know what stop thinking. I will deal with Leviathan myself. You are just going to put me in more trouble” I informed with a straight face.

‎“Oh my goodness, Porsha you know I will never do that. Instead of me to get you in trouble I will happily take the blame all to myself” She said, her voice sharp as ever.

‎“You better cause I will deny you like Peter denied Jesus, three times” I said, still maintaining my straight face and her face fell.

‎“What? You would betray me like that?” She asked with a tedious frown and I nodded simply, “You know, you're a very bad person Porsha so you are going to leave me under the rain after I only got in trouble for you”

‎“Point of correction. I didn't ask you to do anything for me” I said with a small chuckle, and a small smile broke on her lips.

‎“Well played Porsha, when did you understand that all of this was an act?" She doubted, her eyes blazing with excitement.

‎“When you acted all tough. You can't kill an ant to save your life” I informed still laughing.

‎“Porsha that's different, ants are dangerous carnivores, they can ruin your day with one bite. You have to experience it first hand to know” She said with a frown and my laughter intensified, gosh I am grateful that she would be coming with me to Ember nest, else I would have lost my mind.

‎“What are you two ladies laughing about?” I heard the voice of the last person I wanted to see echoed behind me.

‎I turned and there she was, my mom holding a large tray covered with fine linen. The mere sight of her made my stomach crawl and my smile immediately died down.

‎“Greetings my queen. I will take my leave now” Anne informed immediately, dragging my luggages out of the room in a bit to give us some privacy.

‎“Good evening mother” I greeted, just for formality sake. She placed the tray on my bed before speaking.

‎“I'm glad to see you're happy my child” She said with a smile plastered on her face.

‎“Not for long mother, for I have been sentenced to a life of misery” I informed coldly, with red eyes.

‎“Porsha don't speak like that. I hope you find happiness in your new home” She said, a look of concern on her face, which didn't move me even a little.

‎Her hopes were void, there was no way I could be happy in a loveless marriage.

‎“Whatever you say mother. I better take my leave now, my husband is waiting” I voiced in a bit to escape further discussion.

‎“Wait!” She stopped me, taking out a pouch from the tray she brought. The pouch appeared to be filled with coins and an attractive blue notebook, the largest I have seen yet.

‎“I got these for you, take it” She offered handing me the objects.

‎“What are these for?" I doubted, a curious frown on my face, “You do not need to bribe me to stay with Leviathan, I am already his wife”

‎“You misunderstand me child. I am not bribing you. I am simply offering you something I should have a long time ago. I knew you loved designing clothes and I had been saving, hoping to give you the money one you decided to open your own place but now that you would be doing that in your husband's house I decided to offer you them now" She said, her eyes beginning to water and my eyes widened.

‎“I'm sorry, it's not much. I had to pay for the custom made book and it was quite expensive. I truly believe that you will continue to make me proud my dear, and soon the whole world will know the name Porsha Fashion..." She said, her voice bubbling with pride but I didn't let her finish before pulling her into a hug.

‎I couldn't believe she cared so much for me, that she would sacrifice her own enjoyment for my happiness.

‎“Thank you mom. I love you” I said with a heavy chest, a tear escaping my eyeball.

‎“And I love you more” She said in tears as we pulled away.

‎“Don't worry I will send you more, okay?” She assured wiping off my tears.

‎“No need, this and your prayers are enough” I assure, with a smile on my face as I wiped off her own tears.

‎“I will await the good news” She said with great excitement.

‎“I think we should be on our way now.  We don't want to keep your husband waiting" she added, and I nodded.

‎We walked hand in hand out of the castle. Said our good byes, and went out separate ways, but when I got to my departure point, all the carriages were gone apart for a fabulous red carriage.

‎Nonplussed, I walked to the Coachman and asked the question that plagued my mind, “What is going on? where are all the carriages?" I doubted, my voice rising with confusion.

‎“They left for Ember nest my queen” He answered simply, plaguing my intrigues.

‎“On who's orders?” I doubted, my voice thunderous.

‎“My orders” A husky voice replied from behind, I turned and there he was, Leviathan with a smile plastered on his face.

‎“Why would you do that?” I doubted my blood boiling with anger.

‎“It's simple, I wanted to ride with my wife” He confessed, a shameless smirk on his face.

My queen. The great dragon King Leviathan's queen. The nobles always liked drama, and tonight I gave them one. But this wasn’t only for entertainment. I needed to see who Porsha truly was. The dress was clean, fresh, beautiful. Her hair was redone. Her skin glowed like she had just taken a bath. She didn’t look tired. She didn’t look broken. She looked… confident, radiating with pride. The nobles gasped loudly.“She looks even prettier now… Dragon king Leviathan really has eyes for beautiful things,”“She seems so fearless.”“Sure! she does, but does she know how to cook?"“Cook? do you think a spoiled bra

  • FIGHT BETWEEN FATED AND HATED    SHOCKING LEVIATHAN

PORSHA'S POV My breath caught in my throat.“Cook?"Cook for Leviathan and his family? In front of my own parents? The entire hall went silent. Then the whispers began... soft, sharp, poisonous.“She can cook?”“Does the girl even know how to hold a knife?”“Oh this will be entertaining.”Heat flooded my face so quickly I thought I might faint. My mother gasped quietly behind me, while my father shifted uncomfortably in his chair. I didn’t even dare turn toward them, I could feel their eyes burning into my back.Leviathan smirked, enjoying every ounce of my humiliation.“I… I didn’t agree to that,” I whispered sharply under my breath. He leaned down, so close my skin crawled.“You called me a coward, remember?” he whispered, his voice sweet like poison. “So now you’ll prove you’re braver. Or you’ll embarrass yourself trying.”“Leviathan...” I hissed. But he straightened and clapped his hands twice.“Kitchen staff,” he announced, “escort my wife to the royal kitchen so she can begin p

  • FIGHT BETWEEN FATED AND HATED    LEVIATHAN'S ANTIQUE

PORSHA'S POV “Anne would you hurry up with those strips already. I don't have all day," I commanded frustrated, as per now she must have used about 10 minutes just to strip my corset and I honestly don't appreciate that. “I am doing my best Porsha,* She defended, but that only angered me more. “Well, your best isn't good enough. My parents are waiting for me," I informed honestly, the last thing I wanted was to waste so much time. I have to make sure that Mom and Dad leave as soon as possible else there would be problems. I have a terrible feeling about Leviathan, I am sure he will try more stupid things with me now that he is aware my parents are in support of him. “I have an idea Porsha," She said, stopping for a second. I turned to her, my intrigues plagued. “What do you have in mind?" I doubted with a raised brow, my curiosity plagued. She smiled, stepped forward and whispered the most ridiculous thing ever. “How about you stand still, and let me do my job," She said, burs

  • FIGHT BETWEEN FATED AND HATED    BATHING RITUAL

PORSHA'S POV I stepped off my carriage feeling an unfamiliar sense of dread. Taking in a deep breath I walked down the path leading to the river banks, my feet trembling with every step. The ground felt like it was collapsing underneath my feet. As I approached the ritual sight, I spotted Leviathan, mom and dad standing there. It was a full moon so the blue light emanating from the river cast a warm glow over their face. I walked towards Leviathan, taking a stand next to him. The moment his eyes fell on me, they widened. It was like he had just seen a ghost. There was excitement in his eyes, accompanied by a hint of excitement. A small smile playing at the side of his lips.I felt a shiver run down my spine as Leviathan's gaze lingered on me. I tried to maintain a calm demeanor, but my heart was racing. Mom and Dad were watching, so I had to play it cool. The priest began to speak, his voice low and smooth, "As the ritual dictates, the couple must bathe together in the river, to p

  • FIGHT BETWEEN FATED AND HATED    WEDDING RITUAL

PORSHA'S POV “Porsha it's time," Anne's voice cut through my dazz. I flickered my eyes repeatedly, trying to stabilize myself before turning to her. “Oh! That's right. Let's go," I voiced reluctantly. It was one thing to go for the ritual and another to actively take part in it. Gosh! As if one ritual wasn't enough, why do parents have to do two. “Is something bothering you Porsha?" She doubted, her eyes filled with curiosity and upmost concern. “I'm fine Anne," I lied simply. My tone low and steady. The last thing I wanted to do was rant. I have grumbled enough about Leviathan. I was sure that he was planning something nasty, Something that would get underneath my skin, like with the apple incident. But it's fine, I can indulge whatever he wants to throw at me, so long as he doesn't try to disrespect my family in anyway.“Are you sure, cause you don't look bright," Anne questioned once more, scanning my face for answersLetting out a small sigh, I took one final look at my refle

  • FIGHT BETWEEN FATED AND HATED    RITUAL

PORSHA'S POV I burst into an uncontrollable laugh, for Leviathan to even fountain the fact that I might be in love with him is just hilarious.“You think I Porsha of Vikland is in love with you?" I asked rhetorically in-between chuckles. “You must be delusional. I assure you I have 0.00% for you. The only thing that exists here is neutral respect."Truth be told I feel nothing but hate for Leviathan but I fear confessing how I truly feel would result in an unnecessary argument and I am not cut out for that. Leviathan glanced at me for a while, his expression unreadable before his lips curved into a small smirk. “I am glad we are on the same page, cause I would hate for you to fall in love with me, knowing fully well that I don't have a beating heart which can return those feelings." A small ache rose in my chest, of course he was as heartless as the come. It is heartbreaking to be married to a man who lacks basic compassion.“We should leave now, we don't want to keep your parents
