45****Maurice's POV****The pain at the sides of my stomach never ceased, it seemed to have increased this morning and despite the urge surging within me, I didn't heed to groaning. I feigned weak smiles as my mother stood very close to the door of the ward. I hated to see her cry. 49****Natalie's POV****Maurice began to walk better two weeks after. He didn't light limp like he did the day he resumed work at the company.
