Suddenly, things got a lot more complicated. The fact that Crista is pregnant means that Jack must take care of it. It felt like the ground was moving beneath my feet as I was pondering where to begin. What would become of Jack and me? What about us and the child we have? What was going to happen from now on?

Deep within I am confident in my ability to handle everything by myself. I was able to accomplish it in the past, and if it becomes necessary, I will be able to accomplish it once more. However, things were not the same as they were before in the way that they were today.

Jack is really special to me, and I know he feels the same way about me. As a mother, I wasn't ready to let him go just yet, and after everything that had happened between us, I wasn't sure if I could give him to another woman myself.
