Aliyah's POV

I paced the dorm room like a caged wolf, my heart hammering in my chest as I waited for Tyler. The fear from earlier clawed at me, making every second feel like an eternity. What if Dahlia was watching us right now? What if she sent someone else to finish what the rogue started? I was terrified, my stomach twisting into knots, but anger kept me moving, anger at her, at this whole messed-up situation that had turned my life into a nightmare.

The door burst open, and Tyler strode in, his emerald eyes scanning the room before locking on me. "Aliyah, talk to me. What's got you this worked up?"

I rushed forward, grabbing his arm without thinking. "Dahlia. She's the one who sent the rogue. She wants my blood for some ritual to revive her dying pack and make herself Alpha. Kelly and Becca dug it up—pack records, old stories. I'm the sacrifice, Tyler. Me!"

His face darkened, jaw clenching as he pulled me into a quick hug. "Slow down. Sacrifice? That's insane. Tell me everything."

  • FORBIDDEN FATE: MY PROFESSORS' MATE   Chapter 34

Aliyah's POV I stormed out of Dahlia's dorm, my blood boiling like lava in my veins. That bitch's threats echoed in my head–"I'll watch you beg for mercy, and I'll laugh while your precious mates can't save you." Who the hell did she think she was? My fists clenched so tight my nails bit into my palms, drawing tiny pricks of blood. I was furious, yeah, but underneath it all, a cold fear twisted in my gut. What if she really came after me again? The poison from that rogue had nearly killed me once. Frustration burned hot inside me too, why wouldn't she just spit out the real reason? I wiped the blood from my arm where she'd dug her nails in, smearing it on my jeans as I marched across campus. My heart pounded, a mix of rage and terror making my steps jerky. I needed answers, not more bullshit threats.By the time I reached my dorm, I was shaking. I shoved the door open, slamming it behind me so hard the frame rattled. Kelly and Becca jumped up from the couch, their eyes wide."Aliyah

Aliyah's POV "Stop!" I yelled, but they didn't hear me.Tyler shoved back, snarling with his fangs and claws out. "You bastard! You always ruin everything!"Skylar's eyes flashed in Alpha red. "And you should have just left me the fuck alone!"They wrestled each other, knocking over everything, loud growls filling the room. I stood there, shocked, as the fight escalated, they threw each other across the room, punches landing, blood spilling from their claws. What the hell was happening?Skylar's eyes were still glowing that furious Alpha red, his claws extended as he shoved back hard, sending Tyler stumbling into the coffee table. It splintered under the impact, shards flying everywhere."Stop it!" I screamed again, rushing forward. My voice cracked with panic, but they didn't even glance my way. Tyler snarled and lunged again, tackling Skylar to the ground. They rolled, punching and clawing, growls ripping from their throats like wild beasts. I grabbed Tyler's arm, yanking it with a

  • FORBIDDEN FATE: MY PROFESSORS' MATE   Chapter 32

Aliyah's POV I stepped into Rising Moon College's main hall, my backpack slung over one shoulder, heart pounding like I'd just run from a rogue. It had been weeks since the expulsion mess, but Skylar had pulled through on his promise. He had cleared my name, and now here I was, walking these halls again like nothing had happened. But everything had changed. Skylar's sudden shift from the ice-cold rejection to this... warmth? It left me reeling, surprised every time he smiled at me instead of glaring. Still, I couldn't deny the happiness bubbling up inside, it felt like a second chance, even if it made no sense."Aliyah!" Kelly's voice cut through the chatter as she barreled toward me, Becca trailing behind with a grin. Kelly threw her arms around me in a hug that nearly knocked me over. "You're back! Finally! We missed you so much."I hugged her back, laughing despite the nerves twisting in my gut. "I missed you guys too. It's weird being here after... everything."Becca nodded, adju

  • FORBIDDEN FATE: MY PROFESSORS' MATE   Chapter 31

Aliyah's POV I woke up to the sound of Tyler's steady breathing beside me, his chest rising and falling without that ragged hitch from last night. My hand still tingled from where I'd poured my healing energy into him, but the exhaustion had faded. I sat up slowly, glancing around the room. Sunlight filtered through the curtains, and the strong scent of blood that lingered in the air had reduced, now replaced by the faint aroma of coffee from somewhere down the hall."Tyler? Are you okay?" I whispered, brushing his hair back. His eyes fluttered open, they were emerald and clear, no more pain clouding them."Aliyah," he murmured and reached for my hand. "Of course, I'm okay. You... you healed me completely. I literally feel like I could run a marathon."Relief flooded me. "Thank the goddess. Your wound, it's closed completely?"He lifted his shirt, revealing smooth skin where the deep wound had been. "Yeah. Your healing power, it worked miracles. It's literally a miracle because every

  • FORBIDDEN FATE: MY PROFESSORS' MATE   Chapter 30

Aliyah's POV My heart slammed against my ribs as I stared at the screen, the words blurring through the hot tears welling up. Blood Bane Pack attacked. People were dead. Tyler's pack. Skylar's pack. Were they okay? Were they... gone? The phone trembled in my hand, and I gasped, the air catching in my throat like a sob I couldn't release."Aliyah? What's wrong?" Grandma's voice cut through the haze, her hand on my shoulder was firm but gentle.I dropped the phone again, but this time I didn't care. "The pack... Blood Bane... they were attacked. Tyler and Skylar, they're in danger. Or worse." My voice cracked, fear twisting my gut like a knife. I couldn't breathe. What if I'd run away and left them to this? Guilt crashed over me.Grandma picked up the phone, her eyes scanning the messages. "Oh, honey. Do you need to go to them now?""Yes, yes. But I ran. I hid. What if they're hurt because of me?" I whispered, panic rising in my chest. My mates–both of them–could be bleeding out, and h
