My mouth opened, but no words came out.

“Once you're done,” he continued, already turning away, “you can bring the bottle back. And you can sit over there.” He gestured vaguely toward a small seating area with a single chair. “That's where my manager stays.”

I do believe Silver knows JeanPierre better and is protecting Lena. She shouldn’t be going anywhere like private with anyone else on her first day. She don’t even know where the ladies restroom is!!!
