Ava's POV

I stood in front of the mirror, my heart pounding in my chest as I examined the cryptic message left by the mysterious stalker. The words were scrawled on a piece of paper, the letters uneven and rushed, as if the person had been in a hurry. It read, "The past will unveil the truth."

A shiver ran down my spine as I tried to make sense of the message. What did it mean? Whose past was it referring to? And why was I being targeted? Fear and confusion consumed me, but I knew I couldn't let it paralyze me. I had to confront this head-on.
