I felt so frustrated the moment he called himself my father. Where was he all this while? Where was he when my mother was lying in the hospital?

The knowledge that he had abandoned my mother tore me from the inside. I could forgive him for leaving me, but how could I forgive him for deserting my mother; that too when she needed him the most.

If he was a normal human being, I could still understand. But, he was a powerful Golden Shifter, someone who is supposed to have immense power. Then, why was my mother left to die alone in the hospital? Couldn’t he have cured her with his powers?
