KICKED OUT OF OUR OWN HOUSE
EVA’S POV
My heart came into my mouth when I saw Alex fall down, through the window. I couldn’t let him fight the monster alone. His blows seemed to not affect the creature even the slightest bit.
I looked around the room. They all stood still like statues. No one stepped forward to save Alex. I extracted my hands after a struggle, ran to the door, and pushed Michael away.
Then I ran breathlessly to the boundary where I had seen Alex with the monster.
