EVA’S POVMy heart came into my mouth when I saw Alex fall down, through the window. I couldn’t let him fight the monster alone. His blows seemed to not affect the creature even the slightest bit. EVA'S POVStrangely, by the time Liam went a few feet away, the Alexart had stopped glowing. So, I called him back. My heart was thudding like a racing horse by now. ALEX'S POVWhen I saw Eva in pain I felt a sudden burst of energy. I felt like I could push the door apart. I know it is insane but that is how I felt. I decided to give it a try. To be honest I was dying with curiosity and impatience but following them unasked didn’t seem like a polite thing to do. It was as if someone was urging me to wake up. Maybe urging was not the right word, that voice had practically commanded me. I found myself unable to ignore the command.
