I open my eyes and Iâm surrounded by darkness Iâm floating on the nothingness that surrounds me I can feel the cold on my skin and nothing else. As I start to feel the desperate whispers of what I can only assume are tortured souls the darkness eloping me drowning me in the pit of others despairs I feel it crawling on my skin. In the distance I can see a speck of a bright white light as if a beckon itâs warmth calls to me I donât know how I know but I know I must reach the light or succumb to the dark void I feel surrounding me. We are all back in my office now including Marisha and Conrad I guess they are now very much apart of the inner circle. Everyone is seated around my rectangular mahogany desk waiting for the kitchen staff to bring up some snacks so we can get started. One of the kitchen staff bring in a silver trolley full of assorted sandwiches, fruits, nuts, petite desserts bottles of water and cans of soda she lays it out on the table. Conrad reaches over and takes a sandwich shovelling it into his mouth he reaches for another when Marisha slaps his hand and reminds him about table manners.
