Glinda POV

Even though I could say I knew everything about the brothers, I have never had the opportunity to see them in their wolf form.

As a werewolf omega, the Alpha had practically warned me to stay away from his sons whenever I sensed that they were going to shift. He had said he didn't want my ‘wolflessness’ to rub off on them.

Though I had once tried to sneak out, to follow them during their hunts, I knew better than to let my curiosity get the best of me.

Because of this, I couldn't really tell who was in front of me.

Who had just saved me.

I watched as the wolf studied the crowd, one by one, each face getting marked by it until his eyes landed on Rose, then he bolted at her.

“You started this didn't you?” His voice was rough, disoriented as it spoke in his animal tone, so I still couldn't tell who it was.

“N…no…no…” Rose tried to lie, but another dangerous howl escaped his lips. “I’m sorry, but I simply wanted to teach Glinda a lesson. W-we all don't think it's right that she's trying to seduce two men.”

At this point, if a bird flew by, it would suffocate and die. The air was too thick with power, emitting from the black wolf.

Not one of the kids could take a step. All their faces had been drained of blood and Milan looked like she was so close to peeing herself.

The chances of someone shifting into their wolf form in school were very slim. Not just because it was against school rules, but because six years ago, an unknown wolf had shifted on a full moon and had hurt some students. It was a full moon festival and almost all the students were in school that night.

I had been in the restroom, crying my eyes out after some group of guys tried to take advantage of me, only to come out and find out that the guys had been hurt by a wolf. Since then, it's been against the rules to shift in the school premises.

“And whom the fuck gave you the right to tell Glinda what and what not to do?!” The wolf barked.

I didn't even know it could be possible but Rose shrank, getting smaller with each second.

“P-please…”

She had started crying now, but it seemed like the wolf didn't care about her tears.

Heck, it seemed irritated because in the next second, he flung Rose to the other end of the room. It was about to pounce on her again when I rushed to its front.

With my hands outstretched, I screamed. “Stop!”

It snorted and tried to move past me. But I stood my ground, even though I was scared. “P-please…” My voice cracked and then I walked towards it and hugged its head. “Please stop. I'm scared.”

I don't know if it was the hug, or my words, but it calmed down immediately, looking into my eyes as if he was trying to drown himself in it.

“What is going on here?” A man's hard voice came, just when I was about to speak.

I turned to face the source of the noise and was shocked to see a teacher. What was he doing here?

Scared, students started to scatter, running for their dear lives. No one wanted to get into trouble…I could have run as well, but the teacher's eyes were already on us…Me, the big wolf, Rose who was on the floor, and Milan.

“All of you. To the principal's office now!”

Oh no.

With this, the wolf took a deep breath, as it inhaled my scent, its glowing eyes lingering on me for a second longer as though trying to reassure itself that I was unharmed before reluctantly stepping away from my embrace.

His eyes.

The way he just looked at me.

The familiarity.

I-it was him.

As crazy as it sounded, I had just discovered which one of the brothers it was, but it was crazier that I was happy it was him.

“Are you all deaf! To the principal’s office!” At this, we all sprinted out, leaving the wolf behind and giving him enough space to shift back.

Before heading to the principal's office, I was made to wash up in the restroom. When I was done, we all walked to the principal's office.

With each second that passed, my nervousness grew harder and I couldn't bring myself to stop biting my lips.

As a quiet, intelligent student, I have never been to the principal’s office because of something like this.

Truly, my life would change a lot this year.

As we entered the office, the principal was kind of surprised to see us, mostly me though. She was about to ask what the problem was, but the teacher explained it to her.

“How disappointing!” She frowned. “You all broke the school rules, and will face the consequences.”

Oh no.

“And where is the wolf?”

Just then, the door opened, and Kavrian walked in, looking like sin itself. His hair was messy like he'd run his fingers through it multiple times.

It truly was him.

Most buttons weren't done, and his expression was unreadable, but he seemed bored…heck, he looked like a hot mess.

Seeing him, my heart started racing like a galloping horse and at that moment, I couldn't help but ask.

Why was I happy that it was Kavrian who saved me? I should be disappointed. I should want Ethan.

“I'm here principal, Simone…” He said casually then went to sit in front of her. Of course, he could sit while the rest of us stood.

Seeing Kavrian, the principal’s face paled. The earlier confidence disappeared and she started to fidget, almost as if she'd lost her composure. I looked behind me to see that the teacher had the same expression.

Sure, Kavrian was the Alpha's first son and deserved respect, teachers did show him respect back in middle school, but I thought he would be like a normal kid to the principal. Seeing her looking like she was about to wish for the ground to open up and swallow her, made me wonder how much power Kavrian held to make her scared of him.

As for me, as crazy as it sounded, I felt safe. The air was thick, but I felt safe knowing that Kavrian was there.

Very funny though. He used to be my bully.

The principal coughed. Sounded fake by the way. “I am highly disappointed in all of you and what happened tonight is completely unacceptable. Fighting, causing chaos in school, and worst of all, shifting on school grounds after the tragedy that happened six years ago…” Her eyes flickered nervously toward Kavrian before she quickly looked away. “This matter is far too serious to ignore.”

“However,” She straightened her back. “Since it’s the beginning of the term, I am going to be a little lenient, but just this once.”

I heaved a sigh of relief. I didn’t want to get suspended. If the Alpha finds out, he would discover the kiss and I would be in so much trouble.

“Glinda, you will clean your classroom for three days after classes. Rose and Milan, you will join you too, but because they both started the chaos, their punishment will last for two weeks.”

Rose and Milan were not happy, but they knew better than to challenge the principal. However, they couldn’t help but mutter words about how the principal wouldn’t have dared to punish them if Cassandra were with them.

“As for you Kavrian, uhm…” She stuttered. “I believe you won’t shift again. You can live.”

I was shocked, so surprised, my jaw practically dropped. Kavrian committed the biggest crime by shifting in school and hurting Rose, yet he could leave?

Don’t get me wrong, I was glad he saved me, but I still thought it was unfair, and somehow, that hurt even more. It reminded me of how different our lives were and how they would probably always be.

I couldn’t help but put myself in his shoes. If it had been me, I would have gotten suspended…or maybe something even worse. But because it was Kavrian, because he was the Alpha’s son and practically owned the school, everyone acted like they were too scared to even breathe around him.

The unfairness of it all burned inside my chest.

Before I could stop myself, I whispered under my breath, “It’s so unfair.”

I thought no one heard me.

But Kavrian did.

“You’re right,” he said suddenly, his deep voice cutting through the office.

I gasped.

The principal blinked in shock. “E-excuse me?”

Kavrian leaned back lazily in his chair, though the dangerous glint in his eyes remained. “I said she’s right. It is unfair.” His gaze shifted to the principal. “If anyone else had shifted on school grounds, they would already be suspended by now, right?”

The principal visibly swallowed. “Well…considering your circumstances…”

“My circumstances?” he interrupted coldly. “The rules should apply to everyone equally, shouldn’t they, Principal Simone?”

Nobody dared to speak.

Even Milan looked stunned. Rose’s crying slowed as she stared at Kavrian in disbelief.

The principal forced out an awkward laugh. “Kavrian, surely you understand that…”

“No,” he cut in again. “I don’t.”

He sat forward this time, resting his elbows on his knees. “Rose assaulted Glinda. Milan helped. I shifted and threatened another student. So punish all of us properly instead of pretending nothing happened because of my last name.”

I stared at him, completely speechless. What was going on? Is he really doing this because of me?

In the past, Kaivrain, my bully was the type of fuck the rules. He was so obnoxious and annoying back then, but now, simply because of a silly whisper I made, he suddenly cared about fairness.

Moongoddess, was Kavrian changing his own rules because of me? How much did the kiss affect him?

As for the principal, she had no other option but to suspend Kavrain for a week then she dismissed us.

The moment she said we should leave, I practically bolted out of the room as I was too nervous to spend another second with Kavrain.

I thought I had successfully run away from him, until his big hands wrapped around my own and he began pulling me.

“Kavrian, what are you doing?” I whispered sharply as he dragged me down the hallway. “Classes are about to start”

He didn’t slow down.

“What happened today will never happen again, Glinda.” His voice was low, dangerous, possessive. “I’m going to make it clear to everyone that you belong to me.”

My breath caught in my throat.

W-what?

Glinda POVFuck! How do I say no to this? How do I stop myself from pouncing on him and kissing him mercilessly? I needed him to grovel and I genuinely want to stand on that, but those eyes, his voice, the fucking hand I have craved for now on my skin, it was damn hard to push him away. No Glinda no. Fight this. You can’t give in this easily after everything you went through. He needs to grovel. He needs to work hard. With this in thought, I pulled back, frowning.I placed a hand on his chest, feeling the strong, steady thump of his heart beneath my palm. It would be so easy to melt into him, but I forced myself to hold his gaze.“No,” I said, my voice shakier than I wanted. “Not yet. You don’t get to say all those perfect things and expect me to just fall right back into your arms like nothing happened, Kavrian. I spent days in bed crying, replaying the way you looked at me like I was nothing. You broke my heart.”His expression tightened with regret, but he didn’t pull away. I

Glinda POV The pizza arrived and goodness, I ate my portion up like it was going to disappear or something. It had been weeks and this pizza was the first thing I actually didn't force myself to eat. I was happy, so my stomach was happy as well. “Girl, I'm so glad that things are quickly falling into place. Now look at you, stuffing your mouth full and not shedding a tear after every few bites.” Ronnie said, giggling as she happily watched me eat. I smiled. “Honestly Ronnie, despite the many emotions swirling through my veins, I actually feel happier now and relieved by the fact that I may never have to see Cressida again. I could have my peace now and put everything else behind me.” “Yeah girl, that's the spirit.” She said then shoved pizza into my mouth. I chuckled but took a large bite. When we were done, we decided to see a movie together in her room. It was a cool movie but I could barely concentrate as my mind went to Kavrian and I couldn't stop thinking about if he wou

Glinda POVI watched, even increasing the volume as Kavrain continued, his tone dropping even lower, laced with barely contained fury. “The sex tape that was leaked? It was fake. Fabricated. Orchestrated by Cressida, who thought she could tear us apart with her petty, jealous bullshit. She’s been taken care of. Permanently. She won’t be returning.”Gasps rippled through the students on the video. Kavrian’s gaze hardened as he looked directly into the camera, almost like he was staring straight at me. “And Glinda…I’m sorry. I should have trusted you. I should have known better than to doubt you even for a second. You’ve never given me a reason not to, and I let my own stupidity get in the way. But I’m fixing this. Right now. I’m going to set things straight. No more hiding. No more games. You’re mine, and I’m yours. And anyone who tries to come between that will pay.”He stepped closer to whoever was filming, his expression softening just a fraction, the same vulnerable look he’d give

  • Fake Dating The Dangerous Hockey Brother    Chapter 63

Glinda POVThe next day came, and I woke up very late, at twelve in the afternoon, after Ronnie had long gone and her parents had gone out for some pack work. I almost didn't want to get out of bed, but I did when I realized that I needed to use the restroom.I grumbled all the way there, half awake, stumbling into the bathroom. I glanced at the mirror over the sink and I legit frowned…I looked a mess. My hair looked like it had become a bird's nest overnight and my face was swollen as though yeast had been poured into it. I leaned over the sink, turned on the tap, and rinsed my face. That barely did a thing by the way, so I decided to brush and then bathe, which I did immediately, and then returned to the bed when I was done. At that moment, my phone beeped with a message and I groaned. When did I even turn it back on? Must be at the club when I try to give my dance partner my number. I had turned off my phone for days because I didn't want to keep seeing what was going on online

Glinda POV I didn’t hesitate as I followed Ronnie out of the club. My dance partner tried to get my number, but Ronnie was pulling me too fast so I couldn’t say a word or write it to him. “What was that about?” I asked, the moment we got into the car. “I don't know girl, but I knew to fucking get out ass out of there.” She said, pulling her seatbelt in. “But that was crazy though!” She giggled and I smiled. “Wait…don't tell me you booked a room just so we could change fits? Aren't we spending the night there or something?” “Nah, there's nothing sweeter than home. Besides, Mom made our favorites. Sure it's too late to eat, but we deserve to be spoiled for this one night.” I chuckled. Honestly, I'm so glad that Ronnie didn't change one bit despite us being away from each other for so long. We reached the house and as usual, we were welcomed warmly by her parents. They weren't mad we went to the club, as they trusted Ronnie, okay well…they trusted her driver. We were made

Glinda POV“Oh my goodness Glinda, what came over you?” Ronnie asked, the moment we got into her driver's car. “You beat up Cressida to a pulp! Damn! She's going to retaliate hard.”I didn't say a word, just kept my face fixed outside the window. “How did you even learn to do that? Cressida is the Beta's daughter, yet you beat her like she was simply an omega.” Ronnie teased, her hand finding my shoulder as she playfully hit it. “If I say I know or understand what I did, then I would be a fat liar.” I faced her. “I don't know what came over me Ronnie, or how I got that power. It was as if I had gotten possessed and just wanted to make Cressida feel the amount of pain I am in.” “Well now, you have done that but your entire savings will go to Cressida for her treatment and you've been suspended for three days and will be made to join in cleaning the entire school for the rest of the year.”I sighed. Couldn't tell if it was worth beating Cressida now. I was already falling behind bec
