52. He trusted his sister after all.

(Stella's point of view)

His eyes held mine while he sat like a sculpture on a huge chair that looked more like a throne to a king. My heart raced as though it was the last chance for it to beat. I can see nothing but a tinge of disappointment in his eyes. 

He must not have expected me here. Neither did I. I just wanted to run away from this place but the crisscrossed corridors brought me up till here. 

"Come on brother, tell me what would you do to her? I hope you can see she easily came here without getting lost in the mansion as if she knew about your house well. Now don't you think this is not innocent at all... Or do you still have something to say in her support." Maria made it look like I knew this place when I didn't.
